If the CC info is encrypted you have nothing to worry about. This "one" case is probably unrelated to this hack. They must have at least a minimum 128bit encryption on the CC info if not 256bit. Who ever they hired over there from the start clearly were idiots or have little to no knowledge of what they were doing. Sony honestly should just head to the cloud with PSN. Use Amazon or someone similar. The server/maintenance cost is way more cheaper then using your own. Plus then you can leave the security part of things to Amazon and you don't need to worry about anything. Obviously anyone can get hacked still...

Just as I assumed. More media mumbo jumbo making things seem worse then they really are. Like the H1N1 when that first appeared. The media started to make claims that this could be the "super virus" that people have been worrying about for ages. Turned out to be nothing more then a common flu bug.
