@volk
Okay I will make my point in a different way
Its 2006 one person buys an xbox 360 the other a low end pc that is more powerful specwise over the 360
Then fastforward to 2015 that same xbox 360 can play say black ops 3 I seriously doubt the more "powerful" pc from 2006 could run it on the lowest settings never mind the same graphics as the 360.
My point being older pc's dont get supported as long as console...
And how long until that pc can no longer run new releases at the same resolution as the same consoles?
1 - 3 years max.
So to keep up thats another £400 budget pc maybe a little less if you buy upgrades but thats twice the price of a console over the same timeframe.
In 6+ years the ps4/xbox1 will still play the latest games at the highest resolution/ fps it can whilst a low end pc 6 years out of date would be useless...
For a good comparison show me a pc game from 2013 running on a 256mb ram pc that looks anywhere close to the last of us did on ps3.
Until someone hacks your steam account and the crappy customer service means you lose EVERYTHING Ive been burnt once... I will stick to discs because I actually OWN it.
You can stream the ps3/4 versions you just gotta have a hd pvr, so it's down to personal preference.
I preferred mgs2's story over mgsv's... That says alot.
One thing I remember about the only mgo trailer he had prior to launch was a konami rep showing off snake and ocelot as special characters and that there would be more at launch... They lied.
As for the online portion I can't get into it and I hate it turns into a complete mess if two people try and cqc each other and the p2p connection is ******* stupid.
Well its officially launched in europe so they could be waiting for the na launch to aviod spoilers.
If thats true you gotta laugh considering it came out in japan in January...
I got my account stolen around the time of tht stupid security problem they had with the reset password glitch... Guess who still hasn't got an email from support more than 3 months later O.o
I literally gave up I will just pirate the games I lost back and try another client (not origin).
This also includes screenshots aswell as recording gameplay and if you try and stream the game on the ps4 it will only stream the audio.
Sorry I don't have a website or anything to post this on but I imagine some people will want to know before it's out in north america in a few days.
The best indication for future behaviour is past behaviour so...
£40 for the base game
£20 for dlc 1
£20 for dlc 2
£40 for the first expansion
THEN adds microtransaction style currency
So the people who bought the game at launch and bought the dlc's has paid £120/$180 without buying any coins.
Worth a try if you want to spend half the price of a ...
@stagom
I don't think it can be argued that the n64 was in any way technically better than the original playstation (as in specs).
Not so sure about the gamecube vs the ps2/xbox so it's been awhile since they have had the best hardware.
Playing the game at the minute and it's very "tales of" like so far which is a good thing imo, but I have noticed you cannot stream gameplay via the ps4 share button as it only broadcasts the audio.
I wonder if it's because the game isnt out in north america yet or could this be the first game devs disable streaming for...?
Doubt it's the latter but time will tell.
Trust me eu gets screwed way more than na but I totally agree it's 2015 games should release the same day in the west.
P.s
The European release of tales of vesperia was 10 MONTHS after north america!
Get it swapped asap if you still can because it will only get worse and if it's new then I would give it a year before it will be really noticeable.
Sweet you keep paying $60 for an incomplete game and I will aviod them at all costs because its a practice I don't agree with.
Maps should be free in the first place it just splits the community and it is being used as an excuse to have microtransactions
These cosmetic items are just like planetside 2/team fortress both F2P games...
Yeah and microtransactions are becoming routine in xbox exclusives halo/forza/gears/tomb raider so defend it all you want your getting them wether you like them or not.
Forza
Tomb raider
Gears of war
And now halo all have microtransactions...
*SLOW CLAP* for micro(transaction)soft
Even if halo DOUBLED the xbox one sales to 30 million it would still mean 1 in 3 xbox one owners have to buy the game to sell more than halo 4.
It's not going to happen... Other seem to disagree though.
It may be a critical success but with around 15 million xbox one consoles sold to customers its going to struggle to sell close to the 9 million halo 4 sold.
Look at the size of your console and then look at your smart phone...
Either the console has to get alot smaller or the phones alot bigger because even when a phone can play aaa games imagine what a device 10 times the size that is dedicated to gaming is going to run the same game like.
