@ManiacMansion - Sony hasn't said there won't be a next Cell in PS4.
They said they won't be spending as much on R & D as they did on the original Cell, which suggests using Cell/Bluray again with tweaks would be a cheaper option.

So you jump on Nintys new platform and start again with shoddy ports and launch titles for the first year or so, or stay with polished PS3 & 360 games.
Stick with PS3 for now me thinks.
Point is it's only new Insomniac ip's that could go multi platform.
Sony owns Ratchet, Resistance ip's. They will stay exclusive to Playatation platforms.
