What I've seen so far running on PS4 Dev hardware and not smoke & mirrors(which is the Xbox One case), PS4 hardware looks far more capable.

Differences: GDDR5 run cooler. faster and offer more bandwith.
DDR3 run hotter, slower and have less bandwith.
Not even good at emulators, hav'nt you seen Ouya crap specs.

Got my copy yesterday, and couldn't keep off it.
I'd say YES, it's living up to the review scores. 10/10 in my eyes is deserved.
I did read the article, the title is 'very misleading'.
Sony used to send teams in to help out on 3rd party PS3 games. That's far from been the 'wrong attitude'. Thats been help full.
Sony even foots the bill for new games that end up on PSN. Again thats helps out game companies will little money/yet good idea's.
