The in-game graphics are anything but hideous, even if you're playing on last gen "hideous" is simply an exaggeration to describe the visuals as. You may have simply been expecting too much. If it's just another shooter to you, perhaps this title just isn't your cup of tea?

Make sure you go into the app after the scheduled time, it has to refresh. It won't just unlock beta access if you're already in the app

As much as I want it to be true, Sony would make a way more professional looking logo than that. Just look at the first game's logo compared to this one. I hope I'm wrong though
