I'd love to play Alan Wake on the Xbox one I just picked up. Never got to play it as I only had PS3 last gen. I hope it's added to the Backward Compatiblity list this fall.

I agree. I like black bars in films but while playing The Order, they bothered me ever so slightly early on. So I ended up going into my TV's screen settings and edged them out completely.
It was slightly less cinematic, but way more immersive which I think is more important.

What city/state do you live in, if you don't mind me asking. Whenever I play it usually won't be connected until after about 10 minutes of playing tour mode. But I'll have to check today and see if it's any better in my area

Perhaps because it will be quite a different experience with more cars, a photo mode and a dynamic weather system. And that shouldn't be ignored when scoring

The Weather is not DLC, it is feature fans expressed a desire for and evolution decided to implement which is why it is not ready just yet.
There are only 38 cars at launch because of the amount of detail put into them, no other racing game ever made has attempted as much car detail that driveclub has accomplished.
The whole point of the game is that it is a social connected racer, that has been made clear from the start. Maybe you simply were expecting too ...
Waiting until Alan Wake is supported, always wanted to play it and it's only $7 at my local game shop.
