Yeah thats for halo 3, it's called High Ground. For me the most exciting map is probably that monster they mention. The one that will be the biggest halo map ever.
DOA, this series needs some help. A major revamp would help that series, along with other fighters like Mortal Kombat and such.
I've only seen them played in passing, but they seem to have come a long way so i'm sure it'll deserve at least a rental.
I don't think any or at least most of these are dead but they are almost all on a downward slope. Tomb Raider is coming back but it wasn't exactly a triumphant return. Splinter Cell is probably a bit off.

No way is Tomb Raider close to what she use to be or could be though. Far as splinter cell. I think they don't like the evolution the series is going through. Probably would've been better to start a different series or something.

The visuals of the Wii though are enough to get most people by for the most part, it's not like it's n64 here where you think your eyes are going to bleed from the graphics.
