Ive got hopes for this machine but my excitement is being kept in check due to recent failures by this brand. They have an opportunity to start again but they had the last few years to improve the existing systems offering. Instead this appears to have also screwed up. I never knew XB1 had ads in its UI. Can you ad-block them? Noticed PS4 UI is getting sluggish. Hope these things don't end up like iPhone and with updates to old hardware slowing things down

Such a shame, this industry is so much more fun with more serious competitors having it out with each other. I've still not bought an Xbone and it's a shame. As a platform agnostic I like to be involved with all each has to offer but I just can't validate the expense... still... :(

I understand your opinion but personally I felt that frustration was a deliberately caused emotion. You felt what the boy was feeling. And that was due to design, not poor mechanics. Once this is understood, the game becomes something quite unique

Don't listen to hype. Then make my own mind up. 9/10 for me despite very minor issues. Loved it. Issues most people talked about were due to them not getting it or being able to figure things out I imagine

Some people just don't get it. The controls are so similar to their previous games. I think they marry perfectly with the nature of the game, it's protagonist/s and the animations. A truly great game that is up there with the best of them.
