One thing that the ps2 and PS3 era had taught us is that there is no brand loyalty outside of the squabbling fanboys.
I would venture to guess most hardcore cod fans jumped to ps4 this gen as these are the types of people that would pick the more powerful console over some silly corporation brand loyalty.
Their television and movie studios doing bang up job (the equalizer, fury, 22 jump st, breaking bad and the blacklist). Their older movies are printing money Dijango and skyfall ( over a billion dollars gross).
Microsoft still has a long way to go to prove all their new studios are up to the task of competing with the big boys. Sony didn't build its world class group of studios overnight ya know.

That's price Sony paid for gaikai acquisition alone. They also spent bank on building supporting data centers and server farms across the globe.

You do realize that most people want the best for their money regardless of how much a difference there is. Xbox one save ddr3 general purpose ram vs the super fast graphics memory Gddr5 is big enough difference in most people's mind when looking at the prices to go with the ps4 as sales numbers have proven already.

All the games you listed with exception to gears (previously) are first part games. Most 2nd party xbox games have also jumped to the PC.

Windows is the Operating System, the PC distribution platforms varies from Steam to GoG, but is where the money is made. Microsoft's PC distribution platform - Games for Windows failed miserably as nobody (even 2nd party studios don't want to use).
There is no fee or cost to make a game for Windows, i.e. no money goes to Microsoft.
Hence Sony even sells games on Windows like Planetside, Everq...

Have you played jet set radio and infamous? Jet set radio is nothing like sunset overdrive completely different genres.. It's like comparing tony hawk to sunset. It's all ground rail grinding and sports centric gameplay.
Infamous had the verticality traversal through grinding all moving smoothly from point to point and combo based melee attack system all similar to sunsets gameplay.

Killzone is 1080p single player mode. Multi output is technically 1080p, while its peiced together seperatly. Doesn't matter how the hotdogs made as long as you get a hotdog in the end.
If your fed up with Microsoft do yourself a favor and don't get an Xbox one like over 13 million gamers didn't as it's the inferior console anyway.
