This is true, that's a big thing MS needs to change. However, if they do want to explore new or older IPs, they'll need new devs, right?
Playground Games has been hiring quite a bit though. They've got devs from CD Projekt Red, Ninja Theory and Rockstar all working there now. I have faith they can deliver a great RPG.
I think Josef Fares' unconventional marketing really helped A Way Out. Also fantastic to see Sea of Thieves doing this well, it'll be interesting to see how it charts after week one.
Yeah the leap from 900p to 4K is impressive to say the least. I do wish they offered a mode on the X for 1080p with unlocked framerate.
Jeez, this wasn't really on my radar but evidently I'm going to have to change that.
July seems like a safe bet. Seems like they want a bigger game coming to Game Pass every two months. Then that allows for Forza Horizon 4 in September and some game in November.
HDR has really stalled on PC. Hopefully the implementation is really well done here.
Great catch. PS4 Pro version only has two modes, framerate or resolution, so I wonder what the enhanced visuals mode will add on Xbox One X.
Nice, will definitely pick this up again. Looking forward to seeing the Xbox One X version in action.
Not a bad idea honestly.
I absolutely agree. All four (heck, maybe even Mojang but that's a small team) are worth doubling down on. Just thought it was interesting to look at who else they should "bring into the family" so to speak.
For sure. Some smaller things aside, either you love the concept that Sea of Thieves provides, or you hate it. Obviously more content will come over time but that doesn't change what the game is at its core.
Same. This game is incredibly unique, it's going to be interesting to see where they take things from here with this kind of foundation.
Same. Really excited for where this game takes us and what new features the devs have planned.
Yeah, best that everybody can get that Geralt greatness.
Fairly close to 5 million.
Just the vague year "2018." Personally, I've been saying it would be delayed out of 2018 for some time. February-March 2019 is a much better time for it to release.
Honestly, it's probably going to happen at some point.
Yeah, that kind of TEW2 expansion would be awesome. DOOM released in May 2016, so I feel like Id tech is probably ready to show off the sequel.
As for Starfield, I really can't wait to see what a Bethesda RPG would be like once they (hopefully) ditch the Creation engine.
Definitely something they should do, the problem is it's not easy. That's not an excuse though, they should absolutely start at least one or two new studios.
