Same. Cannot wait to actually experience the Kraken.
@thorstein Because it did tank. It grossed more than the production budget but that doesn't include marketing. It would've needed nearly $400 million to make a profit.
All of those would be fantastic. I'd also add Armature Studios. Give them an actual budget and some support from other teams, I think they could make a really good ReCore 2.
They could license out CryEngine for money, Hunt: Showdown would give them a great IP for GAAS and they'd get the Ryse IP, which gives them the ability to make a sequel, helping out on the singleplayer side of things.
One thing that definitely helps is that despite being on the Windows Store, it's actually really well optimized and can run on even a potato. Rare seems to have done a good job on the Xbox and PC versions.
It just won't stop. Incredible success, I imagine they are very happy with these numbers.
Yea I hear you there, it wasn't perfect but I did enjoy it.
Yea I wish some publisher could acquire the IP and round up some Visceral devs to work on it.
Unfortunately you're probably right.
100% agree.
Don't bother giving them clicks, it's a single quote from an unnamed Microsoft representative. Obviously that page on StoryLab Productions wasn't supposed to go up yet and it's a surprise. Doesn't mean it's not happening.
Yup, restore the horror. Keep the elements that made Dead Space 3 feel unique (vast environments, weapon crafting) then just make it way scarier.
@UCForce Almost because without an actual statement it's only 99.9% certain, not 100%.
The StoryLabs Productions page showing a new IP was taken down, which almost certainly means it's real and they announced it too early.
According to the ResetEra leak, The Coalition was helping another studio (likely Rare) make Perfect Dark. This is a new IP that The Coalition is developing. Both can coexist.
Seems likely, given their experience with the tech. Could be from any number of genres though.
They are a talented team, this is pretty exciting.
Super stoked for God of War and Spidey as well. As much as I'd love a Bloodborne 2 though I don't think it's happening, seems more likely that From's new game will be multiplat.
They are launching several games, so that's a blatantly false statement.
Honestly I don't think we'll see a new Elder Scrolls game this generation. I'd love to be wrong though.
