It's because US voice actors have a voice actors guild Union that forces the companies to use only Voice actors from the union.
You get a few good ones and for the rest you are forced to use whole bunch of crappy ones that even amatures can do a better job.
Yes you are FORCED to use crappy ones if the union decides that somebody doesn't get enough jobs cuz they suck, so thank the friggin union system for that.
Holding the dual shock in one hand, and even just using the D pad is kinda bad.
If they made it so you can hold the controller side ways and the L1L2 buttons are facing your palm, and your left thumb on the R3 analog stick, it actually feels pretty ok.
They would need to disable all the buttons except for the R3 analog, and do the directions accordingly of course.
I can't figure out any other way to hold it comfortably with one had though. =/

It looks so awesome I don't even care that this is not on next gen console anymore.
Hopefully by being on the PSP, this game can escape the fanboy wars and be played by more people.

They upgraded the graphics a lot already, the the pics they released before looked like PSP graphics.
It still doesn't look amazing but at least it's another option for a RPG on PS3.

I'm kinda confused on this one. So if they just upscale the video output and texture stays the same as the PS2, I'd imagine it would look the same as a PS2 upscaled on the 60gig PS3.
If they are redoing the textures it would seem like A LOT of work cuz they would have to redraw and put detail into every texture. I would TOTALLY re-buy the game if they redone textures, but on the other hand I can't help but think maybe they are only doing this for the...
There are tons of arcade games in Japan that uses motion sensing controllers, mostly by Konami. It'd be great if they could port those over. I played Action Deka at the arcade and that was the most fun:

Reason I said that is because I've played the first 2 games. Digging the dungeon is the main mechanic of the game and the 2d pixel art is also the charm of the game.

3D is not only 3D but as you can see from the picture below it's ":3D" showing a face and which is most likely the subtitle for part 3.

Gun-Con 3! At least for RE5 the Gun-con 3 will work way better than the motion controller.
It aims well and it's got an analog stick on it and it was perfect.
Sony should've kept supporting the Gun-con cuz it was a great controller.
The motion controller will be better for games like a first person hack and slash game. The combination with the DS3 is just awkward.
