Iv tried my friends ps4 and I really like the change but don't like the touch pad because I hit it a lot when I go to press the option button (is that what the start bottom was? ). I didn't like the X1 controler as much as the 360 one in the beginning but now I do. Guess I just had to get used to it a bit

Its ddr3 and gddr5 sir. Your definitely entitled to your own opinion but they are not not making a $100 profit just because its $100 more if that's what you're thinking. As a matter of fact they're probably losing money if you consider all the r&d they did for the kinect. I also disagree that the kinect is a gimmick because a gimmick gets old and you really don't need it. The kinect though I use it everyday and it never gets old and I still get that wow feeling almost eve...

Energizers are the best way to go. Been using them since 2007 with my 360,not the same one though but they did last me about 5 years. I agree that the kinect works really well but I have had some of the same issues the author has had but it usually only when it loud or a lot of ppl talking. I'm still having issues. Can't get into a game from the sever browser sometimes unless I spam the a button over and over. Over all I do notice a small change in performance to be for the better but still needs a s**t ton of work
I think depending on your X1 settings it is automatic even while your X1 is off so long as its in standby mode
You don't need a recharge kit. I bought a energizer rechargeable kit with 4 batteries for $15 years ago

I don't know what batteries this guy is using but just my 3 year old rechargeable energizers I play about 12 hours out of mine. I also prefer batteries I can replace myself
