Even today, the 3DS is the best value for money. The newest games prove that it still has potential.
It was a decision of poor business logic. Every 3DS user has been waiting for this.
Moving forward has nothing to do with the 3DS's existence. The 3DS is, was and will be something different than every other Nintendo desktop or hybrid console. Everyone knows that. Nintendo HAS already moved forward by replacing the WiiU with the Switch, something which is more than obvious. And the Switch already sells like crazy without having all ''those epic 3DS exclusives'' on board, something the WiiU could not achieve. So the argument, that 3DS exclusives harm de S...
Wave of ''i want this on the Switch'' incoming...
This game shows what the 3DS can do. This little beast has still great potential.
And best value for money!!!
Here we go again with the switch...
The 3DS after 7 extremely successful years is much more mature as a platform than the Switch. The software is there, the engines are there, so it's easier for them to port some specific games first of all to the 3DS.The Switch gets all the support and games it deserves and as a new console, it needs resources and games to fill it's library, something that Nintendo is very actively doing. But they can't port every game at once .Switch owners should be thankful for all the support t...
The switch can not get all the games of the world at once, although it has most of the support from everywhere. You should not ignore the true facts that i mentioned above, because that is how gaming business works. Everything else is just wishful thinking of switch owners, who fear the constant success of a 7 year old system.
Nintendo does what already said some time ago : They support the 3DS, which co exists alongside the Switch. The 3DS targets different user groups than the switch, and these are younger and budget conscious gamers. Strong selling points of the 3DS are also it's amazing library and the -let's admit it- much better portability when compared to the switch, which is almos laptop-like portable. Moreover, the new 2DS/3DS XL models offer ecxellent gaming experience and their high sales prove,...
Indeed. The 3DS is more alive than ever!!!
Well, with 140 millions of DS's around, not everyone ran to buy a 3DS at that time...
The Switch does not need the 3DS games. It gets tons of new games. 3DS and Switch are two different things.
The 3DS offers the same and in terms of portability, it's better.
A new Wario Land and a remake of Link's Awakening for the 3DS would be not a surprise, considering the potential the 3DS still has. While I doubt the quality of the source, all that looks extremely likely.
Zelda, Sonic, Kirby, Mario, Metroid, Yoshi, Xenoblade, Mario tennis are already in the library of the 3ds, and they are great. It's normal that the Switch gets it's own releases of that kind of games. Don't misunderstand me, the Switch is the console which needs to be supported right now and ports or remakes is the best way to fill the library. I would play games like bayonetta only on TV though.
The Switch gets mostly ports, remakes and a ton of indies. The 3DS library is still far better. There is not a major realease for the Switch that is not already in the 3DS's library.
The 3DS is by far the best platform for games like this.
Well, the Switch is clearly the WiiU successor, but it's portability is simply limited, compared to the 3DS. A DS with backwards AND Switch compatibility would be the ultimate portable and a true 3DS successor. Not a switch mini, that would be still just a switch.
PC+Nintendo 3DS is by far the best combo!!!
