Battlefield would be awful if the sniping was like COD. There is a steep learning curve but it's ultimately rewarding and by adding a little variety to your game you can still score high.

Did anyone play 2400 games for the ps1? I remember playing about 50. Maybe I'm casual compared to some of you but for most of the PS3's life cycle (after the shaky start) I had more than enough games to be getting on with. I just got a PS4 and with only BF4 and KillzoneSF I can sense a depth to the multiplayer that was rarely seen in the PS1/PS2 era.
As much as I hate Windows, it runs all the software I use (After Effects etc) as well as any games I need. I use consoles for exclusives and games that suck with a mouse and keyboard. The Steam Machine really doesn't fit anywhere in my needs.
It wasn't the "not serious" that bothered me about the first Bad Company, it was the "not funny". There's a fine line. The humour was lame and it just got annoying. "Not serious" didn't apply to the gameplay anyway, just the dialogue in between the generic FPS campaign.

I don't get it, are some people HOPING for certain games to be bad? I'm probably not getting an Xbox One, ever but that doesn't mean I hope the games for it suck. Having multiple strong consoles is a good incentive for each to continue trying to improve and push for more features and an overall better experience. I just hope this sort of immature fanboyism can end by the time both consoles are going steady.
Finally the Wii U has a killer app! It'd be nice to see three successful consoles running simultaneously (again) and therefore make for an exciting and competitive generation.
So the top selling launch title for a powerful next gen console is one that not only looks bad for a last gen title but actually looks even worse on next gen hardware?
I can't actually understand the mindset of anyone that would give a "fake" bad review to something they don't have or don't intend to purchase. For what gain? It just seems like the most pointless, nonsensical pursuit. I'm sure it'll be the same on the Xbox One reviews too. What is wrong with people?
I think I'll wait to see what Kim Jong Un says about the next gen consoles before I make a commitment.

Sony don't rush things. If the AAA games aren't ready they aren't ready. For now we have great multi platforms, and indies to get on with. It doesn't make a game less fun if it's on other systems (except to fanboys). My only real disappointments are the delays of Drive Club and Watchdogs.
Seriously Microsoft, and associated fanboys: I'm getting a PS4. It doesn't overheat and the controller is fine. Stop making stuff up to try and deter me at the last minute.
