I just paid £23 for it from Amazon. Seems like a good deal to me.
I got it for the PC - it's fun and feels like a fresh take on the FPS genre but I am still finding it (almost) as frustrating as COD; that feeling of injustice when people camp and get such cheap kills - that feeling when you completely unload an entire mag on someone and they somehow avoid death then kick you in the chest to kill you - getting shot when you are already around the corner! The old FPS annoyances are still present.
Metacritic has it at 81 based on 57 reviews. This is above average.
Prediction: Titanfall 2 will arrive sooner than expected and will be almost exactly the same game, but with new maps, weapons and titan designs with an attempt at a single player campaign tacked on for more sales.

If it's not sports teams, then it's presidential candidates and if there isn't an election close then it's fucking game consoles. It just boggles my mind why anyone without financial investment would care which company sells which products inside which week.

I would recommend downloading MAME and playing an emulated version of the arcade original. It's still not a great game but much better than the N64 port.

There aren't many series where fans would more excited by a remake than another sequel.
I find the only games that get me shouting and swearing at the TV are COD games - just because how unfair they often feel. Like "no way did he just take 4 bullets in the head and still fucking knife me"
