There are so many fucking idiots in here it's ridiculous. I typed a long rant then deleted it because it's useless....Most of these people haven't even read what's already here. *sigh*
I played BFBC2 on 360 until about level 29 and got bored when I couldn't find full rooms anymore. Bought it on PC and not only are the graphics and player count better, but the players are as well. After using a keyboard and mouse, I'll never play another FPS on consoles.
I'm just not very good at Halo I guess. It takes too long to kill someone and when I'm just about to somebody else comes in and finishes them off lol. Also, I've really grown to prefer the heavily team oriented style of Battlefield over the run-and-gun of CoD, Halo, etc. I get more satisfaction out of being in cover behind a wall with my teammates while deploying ammo, running into open gunfire to revive people, having debris flying all over as buildings are torn apart by RPGs, et...
Yes, both consoles are currently MAXED out in terms of raw power. They have NOTHING else to offer. The only way to get better looking games is engine optimization and visual trickery. It's something DragonKnight apparently cannot comprehend. The PS3 has a slight advantage because it can make use of multiple cores but still, graphics will not get much better than they are now. You might get games which use nice 2D backdrops and other shortcuts to increase visual fidelity in other areas but...
If you actually believe that a GF 7800 equivalent is powerful by today's standards I don't know what to say to you. I never even knocked the PS3 I just said the gpu was weak but that developers will continue to optimize thanks to the multiple cores that can be used for various processes.
Actually, I think it's fair to say that the PS3 is and has been maxed out for quite some time. It's got an extremely outdated gpu which isn't really capable of more than we're seeing now. What isn't at its limit though is the level of optimization achievable by a given developer. So while the PS3 is technically "maxed out" it hasn't been fully optimized so visuals will continue to improve as methods of optimization do the same.
Yeah but which one is more fun? I played the Crysis 2 MP demo on PC and it feels a lot like Call of Duty with a few extra bells and whistles. If I do buy it, I'll wait for a Steam sale and it'll mainly be for the campaign.
Here's a question: Are Christians safe for the rest of society?
I'd be willing to bet that my PC and game collection cost me less than your console plus all the games you've bought for it.
Confirmed: PC version best.
But, but....I want it on Steam :(
You're not a Sony fanboy......

Got it for free when I purchased a GTX 470 from Newegg but I haven't touched it yet. Looks interesting, though.

It makes me sad that there are only about 7,000 people on BC2 each day. That's only on Steam, of course, but many more are playing CoD.
You'll need a 980x and dual 6990s to run that beast!

I traded in Reach because it didn't really suit me but these replays are fantastic.
After spending the last six months gaming on PC exclusively, I must say this looks like shit. LOL. Before any of you point it out, yes, I am trolling.

Meh, just buy a PC.
Comparing a multiplat to an exclusive = fail. Crysis 1 looks better than both.
