With new gen-hardware, we need better solutions for keeping our systems cool. Like I said about the Wii, it's just barely a better Gamecube when you add the Wiimote. Graphically, I would be bold to say there is little to no graphical change in quality. Don't get me wrong, I admit there are games worth playing on each, just nothing that I HAVE TO OWN. I loved Paper Mario and have no intention of being a fanboy to ANY system. SNES is still one of my favorite systems of all time.
The reason the Wii is so dependable is because IT DOESN'T GET PLAYED enough to overheat. The last gen-graphics are not exactly burning up the processor.
I have to laugh when I read the Gamer Zone and even the Open Zone. Things I agree with, things I don't, the ways people get jealous and stupid over, they just make me laugh.
Kind of like how Natal is going to be as successful as Tony Hawk's Ride Skateboard game.

FF7 has BEEN on PSN. I bought it when it came out. The game is great, but it's a little dated. Still, it's nice to own it for under $10. On Ebay it's $125 USED.
Secret of Mana is up there for me. Maybe Lagoon. :o) LOVE the old school SNES classics.
I downloaded Final Fantasy 7 to my PS3. It's so slow it's almost painful to play. We've been spoiled by the graphics of today. To have an update would NOT just be a 'fresh coat of paint.'
1. You have the potential for faster load times.
2. NO disc swapping with the large, multiple CD games.
3. Better graphics.
4. Potential for voice-work if original lacked it.
5. A game to play that might have been overlooked by those that

I am a huge Sony supporter, and I think it will take off, but I don't see this as standard for at least the next 5-7 years. HD is going to remain the standard for that time as the economy is still in rough shape. As long as our US Government screws the American people economically, expect 3DTV to boom in 2016.

Nintendo is going to alienate every doggone developer they've got until they have no one left. I wouldn't bet the farm on Nintendo if I were a Stock-market guy. They're going to crash if they keep going this route. I think Capcom did the Resident Evil on Wii because it's less cost in regard to the Wii being the inferior (At least graphically) system. But they will be much better taken care of if they move from the Wii to the 360/PS3.
Didn't they see that coming? I mean, really? The Wii has been practically dubbed a family system from the get-go. Why on earth would anyone bother with M rated games on it? The mind boggles. Throw it at 360 or PS3, we'll be happy to take it.
Makes me wish my PS3 had as much shovelware as the Wii. (Sarcasm)
