DJ, you might have hit the nail on the head there. I was reading the newsgroup 'alt.games.video.xbox' and there is quite a few people who have brought more than one 360 because of the 3 year warranty is finished.
PS3 owners can enjoy both KZ2 and Call of Duty:Modern Warfare 2. Can you say the same?

The PS3 version has been proved to be better. The textures and lighting were almost on par with the PC's version. While the 360's looked dumbed down a little.
I remember when the 360 had major framerate problems with Bully, which was a PS2 game. So is the 360 less powerful than a PS2? No it isn't, its all down to coding for the hardware.
While I agree that a lot of multi-plats are better on the 360, this game has no reason why it should be lower frame rates on the PS3. The graphics look like they could have been done on the old xbox or PS2.
You only have to look at PS3 exclusives, they look way better than this game and ...

The PS3 outsold the 360 in most countries 10 months of last year. In quite a few European countries the PS3 is still outselling the 360 even now.
Edit for floppyfeet, you do know Europe is the largest market don't you? More people live in UK, Germany and France (when added together) than do in NA and thats without adding the rest of the other European countries.
40% growth is worldwide, not just NPD (NA) figures. Geeze, people must think NPD is worldwide!
Edit for floppyfeet, only one country in europe is the 360 winning outright and thats the UK. The other countries beat the 360 down for over 10 months last year. If you add up all the total worldwide sales for 2008, the PS3 is ahead.

Yes the PS3 sold around 70k less this December, but the 360 is down by 180k, so the 360 had the bigger loss and thats with it being way cheaper than it was a year ago.

I have one of the new 50mb connections (virginmedia) here in the UK and even with these speeds HD movies sometimes struggle to steam.
I'm also one of the lucky few not to have a cap on my internet. Most IP's here in the UK have a 10mb or 30mb per month cap. I can't see many movies being downloaded with those caps.
My wife, who is 43 years old, loves to play COD4, COD WAW and Oblivion. Damn, her kill to death ratio is around 3 to 1 on COD WAW multiplayer, mines only around 2 to 1 lol
