As I said up there, Gears of War 2 also drops frames to around 20fps plus massive screen tears. Go to digital foundry, they are the ones who did the tests.

You want to try and read the article, plus if you go to digital foundry where they test for fps, you will also find Gears of War 2 does the same, but with the added bonus of massive screen tear.

The screen rendering resolution can't drop from 720p to nearer 630p in mid game without a screen refresh.

Your right, the PS2 drive was crap. I had a few of them go down on me. But I think Sony should have recalled the PS2, same as I think Microsoft should do with the 360.

I'm currently using Viginmedia for my internet IP which is running at 20mbs (soon to be 50mbs). Which blows most peoples connections away.

PSN is not broken asswipe, It completely whoops Live in the no lag gaming. That is one of the reasons why I got rid of the last 2 360's, I couldn't stand the Laggy online gameplay anymore. Yes Live has got some real cool features, like better chat, but why do I want to chat? I want to play a few games online and not talk myself silly.

Edit for Mart: I got 2 core systems on launch, one was in my main Living room, the other was in my media room. After that, I gave the two cores to my sons and brought Pros to replace them. Since then both cores were then binned, but one of my sons did buy another to replace it.

Yes I liked Gears of war, but it did get boring after a while because it was the most linear (run, hide, shoot and then repeat) game I've ever played. Thats why I never brought Gears 2, because gameplay was just as boring.
As for Killzone 2 being generic, well maybe it is and maybe it isn't, but you could say the same for many games including all the Halo's.

On another note, my son games quite alot on xbox live and you should hear how many xbox owners are raving about KZ2 and going out to buy a PS3 for this game alone.
