Ape are u on ecstacy? U always seem way 2 happy. People know they're both good games, but most with a 360 dispute that R2 is in the same league and according to reviews, for good reason. The first resistance wasn't amazing whereas the first Gears was, that's y people are claiming Gears 2 must b better. I haven't heard many people say Resistance 2 is shocking, just that Gears is better
This is true, it's not really news that an immense (and and sequel to an immensely popular game) was gonna smash other most other games in sales. It deserves to have, it's an amazing game. Just like Vadar says, it has the best graphics this gen. They truly are amazing
Deserved, game's incredible, purely the campaign is worth the money, had a brief spin online which ran perfectly, need 2 finish the campaign first, then probably do it in co-op then horde. Graphics are beyond great. They are the best on a console, that's pretty much fact. MGS4 is close, but nothin else is (gears 1 is closest)
Cos these people are garnering a lot of attention. Unlike Dyack, the game that Cliff is representing is pretty much amazing unlike Too Human which sucked hard. In reviews for Gears, some said that it never amazed them, wihch I find odd considering the whole game looks so good and there are some immense sequences.
He does indeed seem like a bit of a knobjock but I haven't noticed him glory-seeking. He seems 2 give his team credit when I've heard him. He said he's workin wit the best artists in the industry which is probably true cos Gears 2 looks incredible. The environments looks so good it's Unreal! They're so detailed and stylish. I can't see how he's ruining a game that's already finished and is already incredible. How does that work? Surely it's a bit late 2 ruin a game once it's on the shelves......

Yeah of course. Read the gamespy trailer, they say it's in their opinion the best looking game ever u nob. So yeah course the graphics are rubbish. IGN UK gave the graphics 10, US gave it 9.5 saying 'You'd be hard pressed to find a better looking game anywhere' and IGN AU gave it 9.5 as well. Gamespot said 'The original Gears of War was a spectacular-looking game, and the sequel maintains this high technical and artistic quality.' So basically it definitely looks amazing, so keep ur bullshini...
Master and Commander, u need ur eyes checking unfortunately. Or a new TV. The draw distance was substantial in the first. U could see that underground reactor chamber after the corpser from a literal mile away, I was amazed that it was actually something u could get 2.

I think he means downgrades for 360 as in the games will need 2 be downgraded on the 360 so they'll work the same on the PS3. How many multiplatform games are inferior on PS3? Most you'll find. If it's really so powerful where are the mindblowingly sweet graphics? That should be cacking on the 360 from a height? Gears 2 will smash most games out of the water. Most sites are saying the graphics are quite improved, and gamespy are saying it's their opinion that it's the best looking game ever. I was always gonna buy a 360 for gaiden 2 but when I saw how sweet Gears 1 was I had 2 buy one then and have bummed Microsoft ever since cos of the amount of immense games there have been. Hopefully this will be as good as it looks. Cage couldn't finish Fahrenheit properly with the most basic of graphics so I'm skeptical but this defo has the potential to be a killer app. Seems at last people trying to use the PS3's power, taken long enough, hope it's not 2 late
I'm not sure, maybe playing online with English people will be a better experience. The US gamers I played with were unbelievable loud and unnecessarily excited. So I only played it online a couple of times ever. The 2nd looks much better online. And for the people who say the graphics are the same, go and look at the comparisons between 1 and 2 and then shut ur humbled mouths

The graphics are good. Albeit the art direction is fairly stylized, but the rain and snow as well as the building and character models look good.
