Graphics?
People don't buy consoles as media hubs. Don't people get most things through their TVs nowadays? Why do I need lovefilm, netflix and all this other crap when I've already got several other ways to do it. Microsoft better not let the core gamer down like they have these last 2-3 years otherwise it's curtains
Both of my consoles are connected 100% of the time. The problem is what happens when their servers go down? Does this mean the entire console base can't play? If so then no sale. I do find it kinda hard that given there are about 70 millions 360s and 40 million on live that MS are gonna stick their finger up at 40%. But it's not like they really seem to know what they're doing these last couple of years

Lol true, not making any games, unlikely he's even seen a dev kit. We have nvidia and this random guy who both have an interest in trying to convince people PS4 is weak. Funny how both of them will benefit from people not getting one.
Meanwhile loads of developers who are using it are saying how much more powerful it is. Everyone knows that people weren't expecting 8gb ddr5 ram and you'll probably see stuff at e3 that will be making fools of these people

Consoles are designed only for games though which you seem to be forgetting. Like you say 6 months is nothing in a console life cycle. That's because developers can spend time focussing on getting the most out of the same thing, not have to make it compatible with everything.

It's low mid tier gaming pc? And ps4 is mid tier. So there's not much difference in your eyes? Tell me some wii u games that look half as good as killzone or uncharted. According to your those aren't even the lowest ranking gaming pcs but they are currently still ahead of ninty's next gen efforts. It's really this simple: in terms of power of the console, Nintendo fell behind in a big way
