Maybe you can't read but they're saying the wont make a game if it can't become a franchise. Not 'if we have a franchise, we will continue to make games of it until the end of eternity'. That's what you seem to be taking from it.
You have a problem with comprehension
Yeah it's not just a case of 'they're different genres so they're not competing'. That sort of thinking gets you dubbed an ignoramus.
I like games, including racing games but come September, I can only get one game. Is it going to be F1 or the biggest entertainment release ever?
What's funny?
'We won't start a game if it can't be a franchise'. What does your response have to do with this? Prince of Persia is a franchise...
Thanks for the most juvenile description of economics ever. I think everyone above 10 years of age knows that competition is good.
What you failed to recognise is that Xbox One isn't exactly competition
Destiny definitely feels different. It kinda seems more Mass Effect in terms of the universe rather than Halo. Which is definitely a good thing. Hoping it's got a really solid story
Delay it? Cancel it
Is this even an article? It's like it's written by a young child. By the 6th word it fails
Kerching
True, cube had many sweet games. Wii U should be abandoned
Yet too few games to count
It's not a fanboy comment. It's highlighting how desperate MS are becoming. The fact the head of Xbox resigned and they've recently restructured speaks volumes - they're in big trouble
What an awful article. Small businesses are not going to spunk $ 500 on a games console so they can video chat. They could buy a pc for half that. Microsoft have pissed on their consumers and this is a desperate plea for any market segment to get tipped off. £429 for that?! Must be a joke
This sums it up:
"The Xbox One, priced at $499, is an affordable option for small business owners, as there are many features built into the console that could help it rival even the most modest of video conferencing and networking platforms."
It could rival even the most modest of video conferencing. That's them admitting it's really quite poor at those things isn't it? If it can EVEN rival the most modest? Bad choice of words. Shouldn...
Have u heard it's not selling all that great? And have you heard that it costs money to make a game? And have you heard that Apple products sell like hotcakes?
Put those together and you'll realise the issues are actually greater than your own wish that it was exclusive...
And to you I say...I don't think people realise you're a wind-up merchant!
XB1 = Head of Xbox getting dafuq outta there before that hideous bomb is dropped
You've named a couple, not a few
I'm no genius but businesses tend to discontinue things when they're not viable. So I'm guessing that renting 3 games a month for £15 versus buying one for £40 is costing them big.
I'm not sure they've considered the impact though, I read somewhere that they think they'll lose 5% of their customers from this but I'd imagine many people have it purely for games
1 reason to skip them is if you hate amazing graphics
They spell it disk instead of disc meaning this is fake
Newsflash. Someone agreeing with you doesn't make you correct.
That's why your answer ignores any points of relevance and just says 'people disagree'. Answer in an actual response: when Ubisoft say 'we won't make a game unless we can turn it into a franchise' has to do with your comment 'prince of Persia is a franchise and you haven't made a sequel'
Good luck
And it's spelt 'you're'
