Both versions are identical graphically. The PS4 version is a little darker than the xbox version. But I only noticed because I was switching back and forth. Both also have a few bugs. You *can* earn all the achievements in the Xbox's free version though. Whenever they patch the bugs.

Can change region and time zone on XBox or make a new account on PS4 to access other regions. I thought everyone knew about it by now.

90% of it will be empty space. I can create a game world 10000x bigger than MGSV, but it's still nothing to brag about because it's mostly empty space. Ikusagami for ps2 advertised 65000 enemies on screen, but it amounted to basically cutting grass with a sword. I guess that's all dynasty warriors style games though.
If you use a guide on your first play through, you do ruin the game.

Steam version has already hit their pre-order bonus milestones, so I hope it will have a lasting crowd. One month delay, plus up to a 3 month delay for online is not a good sign.
