okay, so what about the the other millions who gamers who do give a shit about online gaming? they have to pay for it?? what gives microsoft the rigth?
it's forced because when you purchase a game, more than half the time it includes an online component. People just payed $60 for a game and they have to pay AGAIN just to activate that section of their game. does that seem right to you when other companies do it for free? if MS charged and had vastly improved the online ...
i'd be real interested in hearing about any of their core exclusives.. i was crazy jealous way back when bioshock was an exclusive (best game i've ever played). Mass Effect was also one of those exclusives i wanted.. i know now they're on ps3, but that isnt the point. the point is that those game made me WANT a 360, and that what exclusives should do.
idk, gimmick based games yes.. but i like the extra option and depth that comes with my move controller. the only reason i've even bought one was for move specific games that interested me.. Who the F* wants to play dead space extraction on a DS3? lol. it can also add some lifespan and fun party nights to the system.. is that fail? no. :P

if it came with a very well done life-size sling backpack id be more keen to buy it at $100.. the purcahse would be justified to me then. A statue, comic book, soundtrack +some in-game add ons dont really seem worth $100. True?
indeed, before bioshock gaming was a small time hobby. It was Levine who showed me that videogames are a rare form of art when done right. If done correctly, the game is as visual and exciting as any movie and as involved and detailed as any book. To me, great games marry the two mediums of books and movies and the product is a game worth being called a masterpiece.
And 60 dollars for a masterpiece is a deal imo
