No, you'll be ok. To begin with, Bioshock 1 and 2 aren't a continuation of the same story. They are different stories in the same setting. Bioshock Infinite is a different story in a different setting altogether. I would highly recommend them, though. Especially since they now come together in a pack for $30.
Probably nothing unbearable. Ken Levine basically said he wouldn't ship a game that wasn't worth shipping, so I have confidence it will work just fine.
I'd rather they focus on the story of the game than the way it looks. And it seems like they did just that.
I don't think it should have to take advantage of the features. If anything, it incentivizes you to buy a PS4 because that's another game to add to the launch list.

The vita needs to sell as much as possible if it wants a lot of support. So I say screw it, give me more of everything
third party GAMES includes almost every game not exclusive to a system... Meaning battlefield, call of duty, dead space, street fighter. Games I can play with my friends.... Still third party. He's talking EVERY THIRD PARTY GAME.

IGN summed it up pretty well in a spoilercast. It was either have them be noticed and break your stealth, or take them out of gameplay and have them included in the cutscenes. It's a lot to ask for, really.
