After seeing Mario Kart and Monolith's X, PS4's RAM advantage does not seem like much of a huge advantage. Im sure Wii U can run any engine that can run on PS4 and Xbox One comfortably. EA just confirmed what intelligent people knew all along.

@Sincere0121 PS4 is plagued with free to play, poorly programmed, trashy shooters with micro transactions that are currently on PC. Say what you want about Nintendo IP's but at least people can keep playing them for more than just one day and forgetting about it.
@PygmelionHunter I dont know why u got the dislikes but youre actually right. People have been trolling the Wii U's graphical power on this website since launch. Its funny after seeing Mario Kart 8 and Monolith's X everyone pretends to forget what they thought about the console 2 weeks ago.
@cooperdnizzle I saw that demo and thats what i formed my opinion on. Can you see different fields of view within the game with the Vita screen or is it just a second screen always display the same thing the tv is? Wii U was built for from the ground up to take advantage of those features.
Only thing Vita-PS4 showed it can do is show the same game with exact same footage on a second screen and worse at that. Wii U gamepad adds another dimension but i wouldnt expect anyone who does not own the console to know that.
What are you talking about? $350 for a Wii U with no extra fees and free online multiplayer. What does a tablet controller have to do with comparing prices? Only one tablet controller is need per console and there are standard cheaper controllers similar to Xbox controller that work with every game. PS4 has online multiplayer fees. $60 a year for at least 5 years equates to $700 in all for a PS4. I dont know anyone in their right mind that would buy a PS4 without online multiplayer. All those shooter games they showed off are mainly online multiplayer. Wii U online multiplayer is free and the only thing missing right now is cross game chat which will come in a future update.
@showtimefolks You dont have to apologize. 3rd parties abandoned the Wii U. There seem to only be 12 announced 3rd party games so far that was announced and the only only ones im getting are Watch Dogs and Arkham Origins. Might get AC and Rayman but it depends on how i feel. However Iwata did say there are more unannounced 3rd party games that they will announce in later Nintendo directs but i still dont think it will be as much. I expect to see more 3rd party support when sales pick up later...
Nah I rather see them help with a new Zelda. They should also work on some more jrpgs and revive the genre in the west.
There is actually at least one Nintendo exclusive releasing every month from now until next year. Six games in six months. They were not shown at this Nintendo direct but they were shown in ones before. By the time all those games are released it will be 2014.
I feel the same way about Sony charging for online multiplayer. I never liked it on Xbox 360 and i dont want it on PS4 but everyone seems to think its ok for Sony to do this now when Microsoft was criticized for the same thing last gen. Subscribing for added features, game deals and free access to games is one thing but online multiplayer should always be free and it seems like no one wants to fight for that.
Do any of you here seriously think third parties will restrict Xbox One games and leave it out of the PS4 when they have freedom to do so?
Well if people want more mature titles from Nintendo now is the time to prove to them there is a market for it.
And people claimed the Wii U was under powered? This clearly looked better than a lot of the games that were shown at E3 on "Next gen Systems" and there was no CGI. Im very impressed when you look at the scale of the game and the size and details of the gigantic landscape.
Hard to believe its OS is shit when its capable of more than what the PS3 and Xbox 360 currently is capable of. Load time has been improved since launch and will continue with further updates. Seems to me like you only know about the console from reading articles on here.
So in other words PS4 will have used game restrictions (DRM). "would be left to game publishers" <--- its possible on the PS4 because they put that feature there. Nice try damage controlling what everyone is aware of. Thanks for confirming what i just typed in your reply.
PS4 will have DRM too so i dont see why everyone targeting Microsoft alone. Instead of targeting one company that is doing it complain to both so there will be a better chance of having none of it next gen.
If you have a Wii U get it for that instead.
All this damage control. No one here is going to buy a PS4 to play single player with all those multiplayer shooter games they teased. PS4 without paying for online multiplayer is not a full experience and not worth it from what they showed at E3. Just as jcnba28 stated: Wii U = $300 to $350 and PS4 = $400 to $455 and upwards.
