Well considering you take the quarter of the year when no big releases are made what else were you expecting. How about using the 2nd 3rd or 4th quarter when all the big sports titles come out and not to mention the holiday rush. But glad Ps3 is making some money and catching up.
I have no interest of playing any of those games except maybe MG Rising.
Natal has the potential to be a great extension to the amount of immersion you will have in video games if implemented right by incorporating voice, face recognition and body movement. Im hoping the devs will just use it as an accent to the controller as opposed to replacing the controller. Im more in to sports games so I honestly hope they use natal as a better version of six axis and facial recognition. About KO's how can you expect to constantly get knock outs in three rounds. I couldn't at first but its all in the counter punches. I actually got two knock downs in three rounds once.

Microsoft has been working on a motion tech. that involves no controller at all. That's the big secret and whats supposed to blow you away. The company they bought was initially doing it for the military but the military didn't want it in the end so MS took it over. Cant find the link right now.
I think the author is looking at a worst case scenario. I think it can be averted simply by making Wii2 backwards compatible and making it HD and with a Blu Ray player. Im personally holding out for a Wii HD and 1to1 motion controls. What happened to the 360/PS3 motion controllers that were "confirmed" by the developer.
Ill pay it I liked GTA except I got sick of Niko and it was a little short for a GTA title so this more or less justifies it. Online is too sluggish for me (Im a GRAW type online guy, percision) but Ill play the missions.

Longevity? does he expect PS3 to be around untill 2020. I want a new console at the end of next year (almost two years from now). I dont consider my self a fanboy I was going to buy a PS3 at the next price cut (who knows when that will be hopefully soon) for the bluray but why when I can buy a bluray drive for $95.00.
