I don't like it when developers show games way too early getting the gamers excited then it takes forever to release or potentially is never released at all.
I should of stopped playing Call of Duty after MW2 but my dumb ass said I should give Treyarch a chance with Black Ops.

I've been playing violent games since I was 6.
Hell one of the first games I played was Doom.
What parents need to do is a few things either learn to say no or educate them that the game they are playing is not reality and shouldn't be taken seriously.

Alan Wake (2012), Splinter Cell: Conviction and Gears of War 1 is on PC.
Gears of War is cool but it'll never be up to par with the epicness of Unreal/Unreal: Tournament.

There should be an option to try out items before you buy them and ones that you don't want to buy you can level up and earn them that way too.

It's great technology but it's just not cost efficient enough and it's still new.
Give it time to improve and prices to go way down before considering the possibility of upgrading.
On PC you can play games with both an analog controller or a keyboard & mouse and have the option to button map your controls to whatever you like.
Games on PC are much cheaper and with the constant Steam deals you save a ton of money in the long run and those games are being played on the highest quality possible.
