I do think these game sites are being too judgemental about games but developers need to take the time to make the games.
These sites do have the right to opinion but I think it's the developers fault because it's his job to make sure the game sells not the company who sponsors him.
People are naturally greedy and just want money fast even if that means creating a horrible product.

The only thing that MS has going for them that is even remotely an exclusive is Halo 3. Which was all right not as good as MGS4 and KZ2 though also Warhawk has way better online play than Halo any day. Bioshock looks awesome probably the best game they have and Gears of War which looks fun as a 3rd person shooter but Eight Days looks better.

Halo 3 doesn't really impress me that much when it comes to technology.
Game play is really fun even though I'm a Sony owner of the PS3.
The only thing that I find different about this new one is that now it's playing in HD= 720p and the online missions might be better.

Sure both HD DVD and Blu-ray plays at 1080p the only difference is that a blu-ray disc can hold twice the space which makes for that much more better detail in a movie or game.
The Xbox 360 can't even play at 1080p it's plays at 720p so what's the point in having an HD DVD in 1080p for an Xbox if they can't perform the requirements it says it can.
No offense to MS but if your going to advertise a product make sure it can actually do what it's supposed to do.

Killzone 2 is Sony's Halo not Resistance but I still give the game props on they're work for making a great title.
I think more people get more use out of the PS3 than anything else due to better games and Blu-ray movies and even texting with friends.

Just for Killzone 2 alone it only uses 50% of the PS3 power it possesses

Sony is making things happen with the PS2 selling more than all of the next gen consoles you can't argue with that and with the PS3 still growing and Sony selling other electronics that puts them in the lead in the industry.
Also if you have an HDTV w/your PS3 and you have Play TV it can record tv programs but the best part is it converts it into HD programming like in 720p for starters.
This game totally kicks ass in any FPS available for a long time.
Graphics in this game will be even better once released. I just think this will be the best game of the year in the following order.
1st Killzone 2(obviously)
2nd Metal Gear Solid 4
3rd Bioshock (Spring 2008 to the PS3)
4th Halo 3

It's clear to me Blu-ray is the new thing more and more companies are starting to convert to that system.
ex. Disney, Universal, FOX, CNN, TNT, etc.
Blu-ray also has more textures than a HD DVD and more space so when it comes to making vibrant images in games and movies Blu-ray wins.
This is in my opinion of course.
I believe the console war is good because in the end they make better and advanced games for your console.
In my opinion when it comes to technology the PS3 dominates, when it comes to online play 360 dominates, and when it comes to a new way to play games Nintendo dominates.
It comes to what you want in a console and for me PS3 is doing really well and I made the right choice by buying this product.
