To be honest graphics are a combination of processing power and a well built engine.
I don't think we will see the limitations of any console until the end of this gen towards the PS4 and Xbox 720 era starting in 2016.
As long as people keep using and creating new engines and making better processors I don't think graphics will ever stop getting better.

Overload seems last gen to me graphics aren't up yo date, controls look a little bit weird, etc.
Sony has enough great games but I don't want this game on my PS3 just because it doesn't fit their style.

I'll admit Gears of War 2 is going to be a great game to play but to compare a game like that to a game like Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 side by side in technology is just suicide.

The textures on the PS3 look the best with perfect frame rate action and smooth game play.
Lighting looks about the same on both consoles.

Mass Effect 2 is multi-platform that's a good thing I'll play the 1st on the PC and transport to the second on my PS3.

I went over to Best Buy and saw a demo of this game and it looks exactly the same the only difference is the graphics are a hair better and there's a different story.
