At this point I'm going to Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 and just say the hell with Infinity Ware and COD.

The 360 might have a lot of games but it's not breaking any records or challenging a genre for the better.
In the end I just love playing great games.
I play PS3 for all my video game needs then I switch to playing PC games for my computer gaming needs.
It really comes down to which type of series of games you like, what has the best line up, what has the features, what is more useful, and are you a fan of that company.
I love Sony that's my opinion but Microsoft and Nintendo also have some great games that I also want.
PS3 is the best for me.
Microsoft has some great PC games I want really bad but 360 games I don't know.
If Gears 2 and Too Human come to the PC then I'm happy.

Still I haven't seen 1 game on the 360 that can pass Uncharted in Visuals and Physics yet.
All those characters will be added as exclusive downloadable content to the series.

Now to answer the arguement.
Sony does have 512MB it's just split up between saving and reading memory.
This would be the main reason why you would install games on your PS3 but at the same up you use less memory by having one save file per game.
MGS4 is a beast to be reckoned with.
I do agree though what you say about multi-platform games coming out at the same time instead of later and that can be the main reason why the 360 as more software sales then PS3 because they don't come out at the same time.

MGS4 coming to the 360 is as like likely as Gears of a War and Halo 3 coming to the PS3 which is never.
