I suppose you've played the game then?
Never before seen a game getting bashed for having variety. He listed swimming, space shooting and grinding on rails... But those have always been in the series, so how is it an "identity crisis"? Wtf?
I don't think Gamespot is "bias" or anything like that. I just think the reviewer is a moron... Seriously, variety in gameplay means the game doesn't have an identity? Screw that guy...
WTF, they bashed the game for having VARIETY?
If you listen to the podcast you'll find out that the guy who reviewed this one didn't even try Lock-strafe, which is easily the best control scheme in R&C, every fan knows that. The other 1UP guy who gave it a 9,5 used lock-strafe all the way through and didn't have a single problem with the camera.
Guess that's why it got 9.2 from IGN...
Awesome! The 8,5 guy probably doesn't have a soul. Heh, j/k. :P
Come on, that's like saying 9bg is somehow bigger than 25gb. Yes, it's a fact that you can make bigger games on the Ps3, but that doesn't mean every single Ps3 exclusive is going to be over 2 times larger than the biggest 360 game.
...Huh. :(
Man, the graphics are incredible. And everything is being reflected on the surface of the water... Wow. The explosions need to be bigger and more loud, but I see that's already been fixed in that new screenshot.
Playstation Home is going to be like that too. Just even bigger. And that's going to be free...
It should be. Playstation Home is pretty much the same as Live, but with a 3D interface and apartments and all that stuff. And that's going to be free. Live doesn't even have dedicated servers.
It's also just a fact that the 360 has been out twice as long. Give it some time...
How the hell is this game a Halo clone? It's not even sci-fi! Oh right, it's a halo clone because it has jeeps and ATV's. Because you know, Halo invented automobiles. I don't need this game to be AAA, I would be more than satisfied with a 8,5 score.
Yeah, that was a pretty dumb article. Ok, Ps3 does have more exclusives coming between now and December 31st, but it's not like the "Halo effect" has gone anywhere yet. Halo will still be a big mover of consoles this holiday.
Die, die!
It'll be interesting to see how much this thing costs.
They seem like a strict reviewer. 93% is maybe the worst score Orange Box has gotten.
Damn. Does this game have the best graphics this year or what?
As a sports reviewer, he probably isn't used to games having any variety. :P Zing...
