Too much glamour usually translates to a person seeking hits. Me personally, i never really saw the point to these types of fan clubs. A lot of them don't even talk to all of their fans and just use the figures for dumb bragging rights.

I think the Xbox 360 has over 80 million units world wide, so that + XB1 + PC would equal millions of copies sold. of course 1 platform is no match against 3 in sales figures. I also agree that you don't have to include PlayStation to equal justifiable sales.
Adorable GPUs of today could play the last gen and the gen before in the higher resolutions above 2k. 5 years ago people were playing mass effect 2 at 2560x1440p, today that would translate to a 70$ GPU.
With the price of two brand-new games, you could play the last gen in much higher resolutions.
...All exclusives could have sold better if they went multiplatform.....but do you seriously think Microsoft or Sony really care about that, no, they want their hardware and brands to sell and that's why exclusives exist.
You can download star citizen off the home website and play it. Star citizen receives funding for expansions, new ships and other content.

Phil Spencer talks about both pc and Xbox gamers gaming with cross-play. Both fable legends and killer instinct are multiplayer games. I have a feeling when Spencer says "bringing games over" it's just the ones that can benefit from cross-play.
This actually makes sense for the ecosystem Microsoft wants to establish with Windows 10 and XBox.
In my day pc wasn't the top platform for kids either. It was Gameboy in my neighborhood. PC became a top platform with the young groups in the millennium because of MySpace and Facebook.
And with the introduction of smart phones and tablets it's merged a population of both portable gamers and social networking. They can now do both from their devices. that's actually the state that Japan's in right now.

True. The GPU though takes care of most of the graphics aspects, such as resolutions with it's dedicated graphics memory. The other memory is for the system and OS.

At 1080p that would seem pretty legit. A GTX780 could game just fine with 3gbs and a 970 3.5-4gbs at 1080p. It isn't where much higher resolutions consumes extra memory.
My pc is geared just in case but it seems you may not need it for 1080p gaming.
Very shady that they would rewrite the details after it's successfully received backing. It's not just them though, Japan has been producing such bad reputation with the pc community.
I'm just going to say as an indie developer working on my own little project. From my perspective, IF i list a platform be it lead or as part of a stretch goal and the funding is successful; then it is my business duty to honor my backers, with their purchased incentives.

You can also take DMC4 as another good example. DMC4 covers plenty of background story in It's pages. But does this represent the experience? Or could you be just fine without the other games? It depends, if you're just fine with gaming on just the information given to play the game. This still however doesn't represent the DMC world or experience.

You could get the background story from YouTube like any other game, but i would recommend actually playing the games before saying saying you don't need them. It's like mass effect, you could play mass effect 3 without the other two games but you have to be nuts to think the original mass effect and witcher 2 isn't worth visiting.

It's either RE2 remake or FFVII remake, either way the UE4 engine is capable of beautiful visuals. Allison Road also looks seriously realistic on UE4.
