"Luminous looks good too but idk how easy it is to use.. Square might want FF7 out asap"
For starters UE4 gets frequent updates, It's also maintained by Epic and it's community of developers. This in my opinion is better for the FFVII team because it allows them to pool intel from shared resources.
This cuts down greatly on troubleshooting and making iterations to their engine if needs be. (IE - Luminous engine 1.2, 1.5, 2.0 ect...) Instead ...
It looks very promising. I also signed up, can't wait to play it.
They seem to have a little ways to go. If you ask me though the more time they put into, the better it keeps looking. Their attention to detail is growing very nicely.
They did say before to look forward to the comical stuff. They're probably making room so that much of is optional. The original game was also multiple choice to begin with. you did have options to play along, or do things differently for the Honey Bee Inn in and Corneo's mansion.
I'm happy with more options and branching story, so long as you can trigger original events.
I have to say that both gaming and movie entertainment identically cover a wide range of ages and interests. Just like there are movies out there that have violence and suggestive themes, there are other movies that don't. people say games are for kids, there are mature themes for older groups. similar to movies. Some people say games are sexists; then play a racing game and see what that does for you.
Don't like Nightmare on elm street then watch Sesame Street, sort ...
It is quite the looker to be honest. Immense amount of effort was put into the game to make it worth every penny. It's definitely not a broken game.
A little disappointed. some of this was already shown. And people actually stayed up late for this. I hope FFVII's Jump Festa compensates. A 4 minute trailer on the remake would be a real nice Christmas treat for everyone.
People don't have much to judge about this game, except for the pre-alpha footage which is half a year old now. with it's RPG elements and traversal scale, i'm sure they aim to be going places. especially with those dragons. I'm expecting to see massive scale environments.
"Kojima's new game will be published by Sony, is also coming to PC, won't be Silent Hills"
Sneeky hunch says it's probably UE4 based. UE4 offers a cheap hassle free incentive for PC deployment in it's EULA. But Besides that, It's a wise choice anyways for kicking off projects and early play testing. Not to mention UE4's list of supported features. A Wise choice indeed if true.
Two questions come to my mind - will the first part be strictly Midgar? It took roughly 10-15 hrs to tie things up in that area. the next question is - will the town of Midgar be presented in sandbox form? SE said "exploring" Midgar. i wonder if all areas will be accessible, or in linear form with some places closed off. Original FFVII you could walk into places in a few sectors.
Well I do agree. more market and fan base is a good thing.
It's primarily an Xbox game, So XB1 in particular. If they made a PC version along side the XB1 release that wouldn't be a bad idea in my opinion.
Quantum Break.
They optimized it quite well on the XB1. The optimizations will also pass over to PC as well. good for everyone!
I signed up but i seriously think these developers could have made this game differently than an online shooter. single player TPS would have been the way to go, especially with it's art design.
Was moved to buy a ps4 because of the first trailer, can't turn back now. well, the game is going to land elsewhere too but i'd like to play it soon.
Guilty Gear Xrd SIGN lands on Steam in 2 days? the trailer says December 10th 2015 at the end. https://www.youtube.com/wat...
I think Arc System Works just broke the record on the shortest release date notice.
"FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE will be told across a multi-part series, with each entry providing its own unique experience.“"
each entry providing it's own unique experience? are they saying the game will play differently with each new part? it's RPG in one part, slasher the next, followed by a mini game in the next?
God i hope not.
the discounts are usually for a limited time.
So cool this is arriving to steam on a short notice. Many good games to play on steam!
