But, it did not quite live up to the hype. I was a fan of this series from a long time ago and the newest version is just missing something
Yeah, I will probably buy this as well. It was one of the first games my wife and I actually played together. The first Stuntman was in no way a great game in the graphics or controls, but for some strange reason I could not put it down....guilty pleasure indeed....I just never let any of my friends see me play it hehe
Yes it is......but the comments are from the company that brought you such great classics as Pocket Pool and Pony Friends
Since when did 1 become a lot?
You may want to review your Fact #2.....
and #4 is an opinion
Jason XG1.... go back and read my posts. I support all the big 3 with a little bias towards the 360 at this point and time.. secondly i commented on a post that said "FACT #2: Xbox360's software outsells Nintendo & PS3 combined !" He did not say Wii and PS3 sales. So do you really think the 360 is beating the software sales of the DS, GBA, Wii, and PS3 combined? Pokemon Diamond just su...
How can you say console sales are irrelevant? Nintendo makes profit on every console they sale, hand-held or otherwise; thus, console sales to Nintendo equals profits. For MS and Sony consoles sales means a loss per unit sold until a few revisions down the road, and if they do not sell enough consoles then the hardware will remain a loss for them. If they do not sell enough consoles they will not sell enough software and therefore their loss-leader strategy will fail. If hardware sales really...
I love my 360 but the thing that bothers me most is the live subscription. Paying to play games online (except MMOs) is ridiculous especially when MS wants to own the digital distribution and media hub space. We have to pay an additional yearly fee to play games online on non-dedicated servers (ie hosted by our own boxes) AND we still get served up advertisements on the dashboard.
can someone disagree with the comment by Double-edge? Do you know something about his finances that he doesn't?????
DJ - normally I would completely agree with you; however, as the popularity of used game purchases increases, as is evident by the substantial growth of Gamestops, and the increase of used games as product share in such retailers as Circuit City and other big-box stores. Used games do not count in the attach rate figure. Also, with the popularity of rental services I believe a large number of consumers are moving to the model of try before you buy, and then buy used. Rentals, downloadable ga...
I was watching the video and was going to comment that for a nexgen game this looked very PS2ish in terms of graphics, and was thinking wtf. Then I re-read the headline and noticed it was PSP. Very impressive.
Anyone else notice how the Tom Clancy games are moving away from their tactical roots while the SOCOM games are gravitating more towards it?
Being a supporter of the Big 3 and trying not to act like a fanboy, I want to add that these still shots scanned from a mag will never give the best impression of the game. Any game for that matter. No one plays games to look at still images. The game is a sum of all its parts: graphics, AI, level design, story, and controls. trying to compare a jungle screen-shot from one game to another is absurd. Compare the final game experience. Although all three new consoles have hardware and performan...
It is as if the AI is playing by reverse golf rules, closest to the pin shoots first. There were only ever a few times when more than one enemy was attacking at a time and often enemies a few paces away simply stand and watch until the player had dispatched (in glorious fashion) the closer foes. Could it be that it was on an an easy setting or early on in the game and as you advance through the game more enemies attack simultaneously with improved tactics in order to "ramp-up" the d...
how casual observers make blanket statements about mis-stating facts while not providing facts to support their own statements. If you believe their story to be filled with erroneous statements or facts then provide the evidence.
The three year warranty ONLY covers RRoD issues. And, the launch consoles came with a 90 day warranty, which was extended to a year after the initial RRoD problems started appearing. And, now MS has extended the warranty again to 3 years for only these issues. There is a problem. MS knows there is a problem; however they understand it is cheaper to fix only the units that fail through their extended warranty rather than fix all units that may potentially fail through a recall. Now the questio...
Was just about to ask the same thing myself
they all copied this obscure source which pre-dates them all
Art of motion: THIS is ignoring.....bye bye
person gets added to my ignore list...thanks for weeding yourself out
25nm reduction is nearly a 28% reduction in core size. Quite sizeable reduction especially when speaking in terms of semiconductors. Imagine if you could reduce the size of your autos engine by 28% and still deliver the same amount of horsepower while utilizing less fuel.
I am pretty sure it is.
Considering that the Cell is a joint venture between Sony, IBM and I think Toshiba and the chip itself is produced by IBM then shouldn't IBM at least be named as a co-defendant?
Also, AMD and Intel have been producing "parallel processing with shared memory" processors for some time before the PS3 was even released. Are they also not in violation? I smell a rat
