You should give witcher 2 another chance. I put the game down after about 4 or 5 hours in and gave up on it. I really had to force myself to keep playing a few days later because I couldn't believe all the rave reviews, but I'm so glad I did. It really gets a whole lot better and is one of my favorite games. The beginning, for whatever reason, is just not a good start to the game.
Just a small piece of advice when playing witcher 2. I almost gave up on the game a few hours in because it starts off being pretty damn hard and the combat controls don't help either...but push through. I'm so glad I did. One of my favorite games.
Dangit, my stubby fingers hit diagree when I meant agree. I agree!
I'm sure to be berated by this but I'm just saying...in this particular video the graphics really disappointed me. They seem dated, closer to the xbox 360 build. I'm not trying to be negative as the game still will be loads of fun I'm sure, but it does worry me a bit as I was hoping to play a very pretty game when it finally comes out. Anyone with me on this?
I see it as a failure on the part of the consumer more than anything else. People seem to want to believe that some game is going to be the "be-all end-all" that will bring them total satisfaction and utter bliss. These are simply unrealistic expectations for any game, even ones coming up (witcher 3, arkham knight, mgs V). Games are about having fun when it comes down to it. It is not their responsibility to propel you to some new dimension where all your wildest dreams come true an...
Oh sweet Jebus :) Glad a date has finally been set in stone. I passed up on the last gen version knowing this had to come. Thank you Rockstar! Looking forward to getting lost in your world!
I got one late last night. Made me very happy :). I have an extra PS3 code if someone wants to PM me.
I have to agree with you about AC 3. At the time I was a little behind the times when it came to the yearly installments of the AC series so I didn't play AC3 for at least a year after its release and I didn't follow any of the hype or following dissapointments upon its release. All that to say, I enjoyed it quite a bit. I understood peoples dissapointments, but in no way did I think it was a terrible game (although, maybe I'm just not demanding because I thouroughly enjoyed AC:Re...
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought people were unhappy with Ubisoft not because the main protagonist wasn't a female, but because the new focus on co-op didn't include any female playable characters. To complain about the main protagonist being male or female seems a little too much like a child arguing with their parents about bedtime, but I can understand the complaints about there not being any playable female characters included in the co-op aspect of it...or am I w...
Thanks for another round of funny highlights. I enjoy your humor!
Perhaps I over-simplified the issue, but please explain to me how I do not belong in this forum? Was there some sign upon entrance, which I must have missed, that said only people who feel a certain way about COD can comment? And I don't really know what everyone else is saying about COD cause I don't really care, but if my opinion is "relentlessly spread everywhere", there is usually something to be said about that.
I don't get it...to me, every COD game has felt more or less the same. Mostly, every year just brings more polish and better mechanics (for the most part). I'm not railing against it...in fact, for me, I know what to expect from COD and if that's the mood I'm in, I will pop it in and play it. To me it's been a popcorn franchise for years, and I feel like it's the only one that has the feel that it does. Every other FPS, though some being similar, don't have the sam...
I love giveaways :). Red, White, Blue, and some 50 stars for me.
I literally have no idea what all that technical information that you speak of means but I just wanted to say thank you for adding intelligence to this otherwise obvious grab at attention from lovers and haters of X1. I own a PS4, but if any of what they are saying is true when it comes to this whole "cloud" and "DX12" stuff, I say, bravo to MS for figuring out a way to make your fans happier. After all, that's all I want from Sony too...for them to attempt to make me...
Glad I could be an encouragement to you! Seriously though, some of your comments are really funny..."every time you press the pause button another assassins creed gets made". As someone who happens to still enjoy AC, I still find this hilarious cause it's pretty much true :). Thanks for the laughs...keep it up!
Huh,
I guess if you say nothing all that controversial, no one on N4G seems to care. How sad...
As the first person to comment on your blog, I want to say thanks for your sense of humor and getting the important stuff out there. I enjoyed reading it!
What's funny is I'm beginning to be in awe at the stuff people that continue to post blogs and news on N4G are made of. It seems like this site attracts every mean-spirited person out the...
If the winner is randomly chosen and not selected for a witty or funny comment, great! But if some poor chap has to read through all these to select the "most deserving", well, I just want you to know that you make the world a better place and will make 7 people truly happy...and if I just so "happen" to be one of those 7 people, consider me the one who won by brown-nosing...life alway has to have one of those people.
Yea, I should have clarified what I meant, cause I totally have to agree with that. Man, I want to be kind to good ol' George cause he gave us the Star Wars Universe, but just awful management style and I think he was a control freak.
The only problem with most of what you said is that LucasArts isn't around anymore. I agree, they did an unfortunate job with the license, but they don't really exist anymore. A little in name, thanks to disney, but I believe they as a studio don't exist. So what's stopping it now?
Zelda NES made me fall in love with gaming, but KOTOR was there to make my boyish dreams of becoming a Jedi a reality., and make me realize that dreams could be lived through games. Every year since I wonder what the deuce are they waiting for? Are we just a very loud small fan base or did a whole lot of people forget the laws of economics? I can't see how this wouldn't make money. What a shame...I hope someone grows a brain at Disney and pushes bioware to make another one.
