In case anyone is wondering, this is not a part of this patch.
May I ask what you mean by this? There has been a relative drought of new Star Wars material since the prequels were released (not including the animated show) up until Christmas of 2015. Now we have seen only 2 Star Wars movies, one new cartoon show, and one Star Wars game. Am I missing something, or do you just not like star wars stuff? Because I would say that this is only the beginning.
Comparing the same exact screenshots seems a tad unfair as the lighting and contrast has been altered quite a bit. But if the Mr. Freeze screenshot is anything to go by, plus how stunning arkham knight looked, I have every bit of faith that these remasters will look great in UE4. I suppose if you liked the greenish hue throughout arkham asylum, you might be disappointed.
But I say screw all the hate. I'm very excited that these games will get an extended life span, and ...
Honestly, when everyone cries out that gaming has somehow stunted in growth or is being held back this generation, I honestly don't know what they're talking about at all.
I think, for some very odd reason, that people expected this generation to somehow blow last generation so far out of the water that people have unrealistic expectations. For me personally, this generation has expounded and refined everything that last generation did fairly well, which is exactly...
Yea, I really love (and by love, I mean I think it's really silly) how much of a stink everyone is putting up about a rumor. I swear, every journalist is acting like it's not a rumor and it has been officially announced by Sony.
I'm perfectly happy playing and enjoying my ps4, and if Sony announces something at some point, then I'll think about what to do then. The amount of pure speculation and hate over something that is literally, as real as a ghost right...
The only thing that I don't understand is that Kojima was looking for someone else for snake eater and hayter knew that, from what we know. So, I simply don't understand the logic that follows for hayter where he seems to assume that the part would go to him again when he already knew Kojima didn't really want him as the voice of big boss. Why didn't Hayter get upset then and exchange words with Kojima then instead of waiting to not get a part Kojima never wanted him to have i...
While technically not triple A, this game has me the most excited.
Wow...witcher 3, mgsv, bloodbourne, etc. Why are some people always trying to find the negative in everything. Jeesh!
All I want is to get the Star Wars ps4 bundle!
Just about to say the same thing...and God, I loved that game. People complained about all those cutscenes but they were good to me. Ryder scene was unreal!
I am so thankful for video games as they keep me going and provide a life-saving distraction each day as I struggle with disabling chronic pain. I don't know where I'd be without them.
Absolutely brilliant game in my opinion. Hands down my favorite game this gen so far. And yes, I played the witcher 3 for over 100 hours if anyone wants to know :). I have to agree with those other comments about the side missions being a little lackluster thoug, especially death stroke. Though, he was kinda tacked on at the end, but a hand to hand fight with him would have been great. Granted, we already got that, so perhaps they didn't want to rehash. But then, why have the same exact b...
Lol
my thoughts exactly. The title makes it sound like no one liked it, but then the article doesn't even really elaborate or try and even prove the headline.
Sorry, but I picked it up a couple weeks ago and I still didn't enjoy it. All the reasons this author gives for enjoying were many of the reasons I really didn't care for it. Arno was annoying and a bit of a prick to me and the stealth mechanics were horrendous IMO. I'm glad some got enjoyment out of it but it wasn't the bugs that made me hate the game so I wish people would stop saying that this is the only reason the game was bad. I have a lot of other complaints but ubisoft...
I'm glad you enjoyed it. I've heard from a few others as well that they enjoyed the game too. I honestly tried really hard to like this game, but I just couldn't. Just goes to show that we each experience things differently. I can't recommend the game myself but that doesn't mean others shouldn't enjoy it if they do. I don't understand how it's enjoyable but I know that's just my opinion.
I too gave up on the second one about four hours in. I was tired of dying so much and the combat just seemed complicated and frustrating. I laid the controller down and walked away. The next day I just had to try again because the world itself seemed very interesting. I'm very glad I pushed through the next couple hours because it has now become one of my favorite games. I would recommend giving it a go again. Geralt becomes more powerful and combat isn't so hard, and things just clic...
Yea, I felt the same way about this game. I didn't listen to most of the complaints and got it anyway. Sigh indeed.
Thanks for the comments. I should have added that what I meant I liked about Paris was some of the landmarks as a few of them were a pleasure to walk through. But the rest, yea, it was kind of same old building after same old building. And as much as some say Arno can move, to me, it feels like he pauses before every move he makes. It seemed very slow for some reason. Totally agree about all the clutter on the map and all those multicolored chests. Very annoying as well.
I tried...
My biggest gripe is the hitching that still takes place while traversing. It really takes the momentum out of how pretty and interesting the worlds are. I really wish they would fix that. The visual glitches seem to be few and far between now, but it still doesn’t feel like it is a completely polished game; hopeful they’ve learned a few things about the engine and the next game will be a better gameplay experience with a smoother framerate.
