A lot of PS3 games don't need installs and it works just great. The Last of Us didn't need an install.
Good :-)
Having to register every game to your Live account and all the stipulations that come with having to do that as far as sharing, etc. is disconcerting and honestly, just a hassle. Then, having to check in online every 24 hours or your games won't play makes for a broken console before it's even released. There's been many times where I have been in a place without internet for extended periods and had to play my games offline. With Xbone, you can't even do that. Anyone who defe...
The launch line-up alone is incredible. I already don't know what games to play first haha.
On Xbox One every title has to be downloaded onto your HDD, even hard copies/discs, and then registered to your Live account. (Blu-Ray is only used as a game transfer system on Xbox One, it doesn't ever play games off the disc). The benefit of buying the hard copy/disc in this instance is that you only have to install the game off the disc to your HDD rather than buying the digital copy and waiting for it to download. On PS4, you don't have to download it onto your HDD if you buy the ...
I'll just buy it on disc for PS4
We'll see when the consoles launch and rigorous tests are ran to find out just how fast they truly are.
Technically the CPU is not weaker. Clock speeds don't mean everything.
PS4 has the dominant launch line-up by a landslide.
Go to IGN for the real games list. You're missing quite a few.
I agree, nothing even comes close to comparing with The Last Of Us. Everybody who says they're a gamer needs to play that game. Can't wait for PS4.
You Xbots make me sick.
The launch line-up on PS4 completely decimates Xbone. And that's just the 1st party titles. Including all the exclusive F2P titles and indies, there's simply no competition. Best versions of 3rd party titles will be on PS4. There's far more games in development on PS4 than Xbone. Far more EXCLUSIVE games in development for PS4 than Xbone.
PS4 is going to be incredible, I can't wait. I'm going to buy as many games at launch as I possibly can, except for CoD.
Can't wait for this game!
Technically yes, you are in essence buying digital licences when purchasing discs on Xbone. Consider you have to register online every disc based game you buy (even to play 'offline'), and, you have to install every game onto your hdd to be able to play said game. Discs for Xbone will be used only as game transfer devices.
Consumers/developers first
Not even close to the same way. Don't spout bs like that, it makes you look like an idiot.
And pay a fee.
The launch line-up alone on PS4 could keep me entertained for quite a long while (probably years). And then knowing that that is just the beginning of all the greatness makes my mind boggle.
