i think there's a middle ground, no money taken until full production costs are recovered
the console business is different in many ways, sony are essentially selling the PS5 at a loss, there's advertising costs, research and development, ongoing updates / features for the PS5 and for the development Tools
there a long way from a trillion dollar monopoly
they started doing playstation reviews, when phil took over
ill look forward to reading all the 10/10 xbox reviews
that was a standard contract, and was talking about about keeping parity when it came to any DLC
i think you'll find the Pc version will indeed look better
this is why halo was delayed, to fill it with microtransactions
6000 thousand games on your steam account, and still begging for playstation ports
arcade forza and some free to play halo game
if my mummy ever wants to get into gaming, ill let her know
that's a lot more then 15 headshots in halo
i heard its closer to 10, huge exclusives
New G-ener@tion, New G-@mes
they tried to make it better by doubling the price, but the xbox community shut it down
titanfall 2, is 4k on the xbox one x, why not "fps boost"
Battlefield 1, is 4k on the xbox one x, why not "fps boost"
battlefield 4, 720p 120fps, campaign locked, multiplayer drops down to 98fps
battlefield 1, 792p 120fps, campaign locked, multiplayer locked
battlefield 5, 1080p 120fps, campaign locked, multiplayer locked
mirror's edge catalyst, 936p 120fps, campaign locked
titanfall 2, 810p 120fps, campaign locked, multiplayer locked, series s not so good
titanfall 1, 792p 120fps, campaign locked, multiplayer locked, no s support for this game
...
once you burn through, the 5 or 6 games worth even bothering about, its a sea of mediocre
playstation has GOTY after GOTY after GOTY, the last of us 2 has more GOTY awards then any game in the history of gaming
i would say most people buy 3 or 4, AAA games a year, plus pickup some games on sale and have PS+ for some extra gaming goodness, and the games are yours, to sell or keep
if you have plenty of time on your hands and have no problem renting a bunch of mediocre games, gamepass is your best bet
the winning never stops with microsoft are the waiting
the main thing we can take away from this is, the "s" is a mess
but halo is a free to play game, it wont sell a single gamepass subscription and not even, the little gold service is needed anymore
boasting about something that's undetectable to the human brain, is a bit stupid, unless you can tell the difference between 57 fps vs 54 fps, the xbox version has screen tearing which would literally make it unplayable for me, i absolutely hate screen tearing
raytracing was supposed to be xbox series x, claim to fame, at 40% better then the PS5, as it turns out it is straight garbage next to even the most basic PC GPU, and not a lot different then the PS5
