1080p doesnt means next gen graphics. 1080p and very high graphics settings is always better than 1080p and very low graphics settings. In 2016-18 all PS4/X1 games will be basically in very low graphics settings. PC is always the KING when we talk about resolution and graphics settings.

Fact is, Wii U is not on par with PS4/X1. Wii U doesnt needs to be the strongest console out there but Wii U should have been atleast on par with X1 and PS4 (lets say 1-3 times weaker is/could be acceptable but not 10 times weaker than PS4/X1 like the Wii U).
The difference between desktop consoles and portable consoles. Wii U has some 3rd party support but Wii U has not so many games which were released for PS3/360/PS4/X1/PC. Nintendo 3DS has good 3rd party support but Vita has 3rd party support do.... but here is the catch, 3DS games ARE NOT multiplatform games or in other words, games for 3DS are not relased for Vita and vice versa.
In other words, Wii U is in BIG TROUBLE.
Actually, many Americans heve only about 3-4 Mbps..... thats just "average" (lets say some business ppl have 100-1000 mbps), they are also in the measure involved. Example, at first, the average salery in my country (Croatia) is relatively "high" in EU but if you do a better research it actually isnt for 80% of ppl in Croatia. Thats because our politiciants have a much much higher salary than us.
Native 1080p means shit, its sjut resolution (pixels on screen). Graphics settings/details are much much more important. PC can do 1080p and maxed out or 2K-4K + resolution and maxed out. But PS4 cant do that because the hardware has its own limits. So, you need to make a choice..... very good graphics or very good frames per second. You cant have both (unless you pay 1000-2000$ for your system aka PC).
And all that depends on the game.
You missed the whole point. Sony has nothing to do with this. For consoles, they are already using "low level" optimizastions, thats why we say: "console games are more optiized than PC games". But now, AMD wants to bring the "low level" optimization mostly for PC but consoles can benefit from this too.
HSA is not only made for consoles, its also made for PC.

EDIT: Nope, its not easy to emulate the PS2.... look it up, PS2 is not released 2-3 years ago. Sure, nowadays PC setups can run the PS2 emulator ...
My point was, PS3 emulator exists (thats all)
1. Still no emulators but you can play 3DS roms on 3DS
2. Its not bullshit, its officialy emulator/debugger and you can run some games (some basic test games like tetris etc) and you can actually run one commercial PS3 game (ofc its not playable). Question is not would it run PS3 games (it already happend). The real question is, what PC do we need to run PS3 games at 30-60 fps (i guess, we need to wait 5-10 years ...
Yeah but you need to consider one thing. PS2 is heavly customized (everything). PS4 is basically a PC (GPU and CPU... GDDR5 memory is also nothing new for PC)

ofc games on consoles are more optimized than PC games. Example, the X1800 based GPU in Xbox360 and 7800gt based in PS3 is better than X1950 for example in real time scenarios. I own a PC, PS3 and Wii so i know what im talking about, im in the PC era since 80s. You are completely ignoring the fact that 95+% new PS3 games are running in sub HD or 1280x 720 AT BEST and ofc 30 FPS, no AA, very low graphics settings etc
FACTS:
1. PS4 is stroner than Xbox One
2. Kinect v2 is stronger than PS Eye and Kinect v1
3. PS4 is worth $400, PS Eye is worth $60
4. Xbox One and Kinect are worth $500
5. Kinect v1 was worth $100
6. If we want to purchase Xbox One, MS is forcing us to pay something we dont want and thats Kinect v2 (i mean, most of us dont care about Kinect and PS Eye)
