Who knew trying to sell 2/3 of a game with pre-order crap, dlc crap, microstransaction crap, and mobile tie-in crap, would result in underwhelming sales.

Huh. Learn something new every day.

Who says FF XV succeeded? That's another under performing game. 6M shipped, is not 6M sold. It's already gone on sale for nearly half off on various occasions.

Whether FF XV actually succeeded or not, remains to be seen. It's practically impossible for a game to succeed though when it's development budgets was bloated to 3 or 4 times its conventional cost due to resets and platform moves and such.

FF XV won't be a "success&q...

Love that graph. Resident Evil 7 shipments of 2.5M announced. High stock value.

Resident Evil 7 collects dust on store shelves. Low stock value.

Didn't see this one coming. Oh wait, yes I did. LOL

Maybe next time make a Resident Evil game, instead of Hillbilly Horror Sideshow. You know. Actually include things the series is known for aside from green herbs, and a random virus?

Getting harder and harder to find anything that "isn't" 4K for sale these days. Safe to say, Scorpio will be coming out at the dawn of its mainstream adoption. If not right on time, then very shortly before it.

You fail again Pachter.

Why would you brand your memory cards as Switch anyways? It'll do more harm than good, given the worthless pile of garbage the Switch is known to be already.

Phil is right in wanting to do this. Having people pay, and pay, and pay, and pay yet again, for games they already bought in the past, is simply stupid. Porting takes some work of course, however, you'll build a larger customer base into the present system.

In the end, it's an investment into the system by Microsoft. Not every single cost needs to be dumped on to the customer. It's obvious that retro (including up to last gen) gaming is popular enough ...

"great title from Ubisoft"

Haha. When was the last time anyone could say that with a straight face? 5? 6 years ago?

Wow. 62 whole thousand people are using PSVR. What a smashing success. Clearly. This is a tidal wave of popularity.

Protip Reggie: It shouldn't.

At this point, whoever gets bent by Nintendo, deserves it.

Comical though, that some would compare a console that people would likely still want to play in 10-20 years, to a tablet with a shelf life of 2-3 years.

Keep eating that Nintendo bulls**t folks. It tastes soooooooooooooo good.

It's Ubisoft. This is pretty much default.

"While Resident Evil VII is a success"

Jury is still out on that one if you're referring to commercial. Critical? Well, it's a fad acceptance phase. This will be looked back on later, and seen for what it is. A terribly cheap, low effort, "commercially safe", uninspired turd.

Though, given how non existent the QA obviously was, the crappy, low quality textures, hilariously unoptimized PC version, and bad voice acting? ...

I see a lot of people have this false impression that "digital" doesn't pay taxes. Taxes are paid based on the operational location of the store front. If you happen to be in the same state or province of the store you're buying from digitally, you are forced to pay your state/provincial tax on digital just like anything else. Most of the time you'll even see the small print claiming "Residents of (insert state / province name(s) here) will pay (X)% sales tax.&qu...

Why apologize? The PS4Pro "is" half assed. Some ramped up clock cycles, unlocked a few more CUs, and a whopping 1GB more of RAM. Oh boy, what a beast.

Buddy is apologizing for calling it as it is. These people need to learn to either shut up, or stand their ground. Bunch of spineless jellyfish.

You have to have the mental capacity of a cinder block to watch streams just because there's "revealing outfits". Not that I'm surprised by its popularity, as the world has never been collectively more stupid, than it is these days.

The only thing that will take the "sting out of scorpio's tail" (really?), is if MS' game library continues to wither.

The system could render real time @ 8K/120fps. If the games suck, who cares?

Performance-wise, I can't see MS releasing a new system an entire year after P4Pro, only to have it be on parity. Let's be realistic here too. MS is not new to the technological battlefield.

"Sell in means shipped to retailers + digital sales"

Nice try Crapcom. Taking lessons from SE on spinning numbers.

The actual sales figures should be nothing short of comical when they are released.
