I dunno. I won't jump on one side or another yet myself, until I see more of the game in action.

"Babysitting" is not "always" bad though. There have been a few past instances of it where it works rather well. The problem is, there are just so many where it does not, and it gives it a bad stigma.

Pretty sure GoW here will be an exception, and turn out to be something special. Not every day, month, or year even, that you ...

"...a title that's free for those that subscribe to the EA service..."

Kinda like how my cable TV channels are free, if I subscribe to the cable TV service I guess?

Indeed. It's far worse.

Not sure how many times people have to witness train wrecks like this in the making to just accept your instinct, but, anyone who's been around for even 5+ years, should see the caliber of stinker this is going to be.

Effortless, copycat, uninspired trash.

Of course it is. If you gave it even a moment of thought, you'd realize just how dumb it would be to release a PS5 this year, or even next.

Far more dumb for this year however, and bit of a stretch for next year. It just doesn't make sense.

Nothing wrong with fan service in the least, so long as, the game itself is well made. If the game is crap, then it's crap, and no amount of fan service will make it good.

So.... ya, some girl fighters are more than just T&A, and others, are not. Any game is only as good as the developers, and the mount of effort they put into it.

Ah, a ray of sunshine with my afternoon coffee.

You're right. It's far worse, and far more forgettable, and that's saying something.

Not very hard to make a mockery of Destiny 2 really. It practically does it all by its lonesome.

Right.....

No surprise here really. Good to see Nintendo on their feet again.

Dying? It stinks already. Been dead for a while.

Highly doubtful Sony will want to cannibalize and burn good will with adopters of PS4Pro, even by holiday 2019. It would just rub many the wrong way.

Pretty safe bet on 2020 holiday for PS5.

No need to hope. AnubisG nailed it.

Selling your game at $20 on sale, pretty much makes its sales figures redundant. Everyone knows it's first week that counts for everything.

8? You only need 2 really.

Always-on DRM that had to be back pedaled but the damage was done, and the spycam that was mandatory for operation, which was also back pedaled but the damage was done.

End of story.

If no money is involved in any way, shape or form, then there is really nothing at risk for the customer. It's a purely fun game of chance, and that should be fine.

We all know this the furthest thing possible from their design goals.

"....Cloud Gaming as The Future of Triple-A"

Glad I don't care about "AAA" anymore. Great for those who are actually entertained by mind numbing boring design that you're actually encouraged to pay extra money to not have to deal with, covered with pretty dressing I guess.

This also coming from a player in the "AAA" market? Ya, blow it out yer rear Jade.

Da cloud! Da cloud! Dat cloud! Whe...

Not terribly impressive, as expected.

Let's see here.

Credibility towards information. Journalists who deliver this information. Should we get out our protractors and get to work on cracking this tough nut?

Crooked publishers aside, it's the "journalists" that are corrupt in order for these crooked publishers to take advantage of in the first place.
