This would imply that "PR" actually holds some sort of value. It doesn't.
If you're the type who listens to the PR lies of any companies of any kind, and believes them? Well, I feel sorry for you, and you're part of the problem of companies taking advantage of customers.
Would I like remakes for most of those games on the list? Sure.
Do I trust any of the companies which own those IPs, to make anything even remotely worthy of the original? Not a f****n chance.
Except maybe Zelda II and Kid Icarus for obvious reasons.
You may be correct, I was just thinking of the most crucial pivot point, which I thought to be the mid-PS2 era. Things just exploded at that time. Sales records, and by extension, popularity records, had begun to be set prior to that of course, with PS1, Dreamcast, etc. etc.
Usually? No. Sometimes? Absolutely.
Like everything in existence, there is good, and bad. Remakes tend to lean towards the bad, kind of like video game based movies.
You may want to re-evaluate the appeal of your site, when you have to fish for clicks, by holding a mere file size number hostage.
I mean..... really now.
You're already proven right. This.... thing, "is" bad.
I think Nightdive should focus on bringing the remake to "anything" first.
From the sounds of things recently, things aren't exactly going peachy with this game's development.
What do you think happened? "Gaming", went mainstream through the mid 2000s. When things become popular, and the tidal wave of stupid people become customers, this is the end result.
Sports, music, movies, games. It's doesn't matter. When something becomes popular, the bulk of the population, which are morons, start being catered to by profit seeking companies. Have to have that "mass appeal" to maximize that bank.
End...
I see things more as "Microsoft is Playing the Dumb Game Contrary to Sony".
You can slice anyway you want to try and make yourself feel better though.
Well, thank god Bungie and Activision never lie................ right?
Have you seen one original idea in Destiny as a whole? It will be more BR-like trash. Count on it.
Key word being "inexcusable". May as well add, "unforgivable" as well.
These moments when companies show their true intentions, and get caught, cannot be forgotten. Boycotting such cancerous companies as EA and the likes, should be become commonplace.
This garbage has gone on for long enough already, and too many people have lost their jobs because of the greed of these companies. To say nothing of the IP's which have b...
"Wouldn't trust Bioware to make a great game any more. They are no longer the same company and haven't been for a while. "
Quick! Put on your fanboy goggles. Such words cannot be said against the divine BioWare. /s
So what you're saying is, this could be the end of Remedy Games. Alright then.
Wow. You have to be pretty embarrassed to be throwing out percentages as sales performance reporting.
Just man-up and show your definite sales numbers already MS. At the very least, you may gain the respect of some people for being transparent.
"It's a great tactic..."
In all fairness, if it were a great tactic, people wouldn't see right through it. It's more like.... a desperate tactic.
Um... because the numbers are embarrassing?
COD has never seemed so desperate. Looks good on it.
Oh no............
I dunno. If I wanted to play a man in an adventure game, I'd load up Uncharted.
If I wanted to play a woman that looks like a man, well......... actually, I never would want to play that.
SquareEnix just needs to die already. Or at the very least, be forced to sell of all its IPs due to financial trouble. One can hope.
