I'm all for people buying physical. But since I'm getting older (I'm 45 now), physical things like collectors items just don't mean much to me anymore. I have no interest in reselling my games. And being able to launch any of my games on the fly is so appealing to me. To each his own I guess.
The cloud is coming. MS is waiting for next the console.
On a side note, I think both systems will have some type of Alexa/Siri functionality in them.
So, is the game any good?
I wasn't having problems seeing anybody. And thank god they took out 3D spotting.
What is spawn protection? I didn't get anything from that video
People complaining about something they're not forced to buy....
Every other day a new Xbox article, yet it's filled with trolls
Why are options "unfortunate"?
@Xander70769
You're assuming I want always online consoles. In my prior posts, I never once indicated that's what I want. I was pointing out that's its inevitable that consoles will need to be online in order for consumers to get the most out of the games that are played on these consoles. The developers know this. That's why....ahh what hell am I trying to explain this for? It's happening whether we like it or not
But, as others have said, if you get the major companies like Microsoft and Sony onboard with an always online console, then as a customer where do you turn to?
Microsoft made a major mistake by making people sign in in order to always be online. If the online requirement goes through the games, then it's a little bit easier for the customer to digest. Imagine a game that can be played offline but in order to get the full experience, you need to be online. We're already there...
Whether we like it or not, being connected online is the way of the future for gaming. Let me ask you this, what game is generating a ton of money right now? Fortnite. Why is it generating a ton of money? Because the game is online and having customers online means the developers and publishers have access to the customer's wallet well after the first day the game was played. Period
Times, they are a changin
Yeah no
Discless could be sold online only. Get it?
Looks awesome. F the haters
People, we should all listen to kevnb. He's trying to make a point. Can't you see we shouldn't spend the money the way we want to but the way he wants us to. Come on, get with it
But according to N4G, Xbox is dead
When it comes to Microsoft acquiring their new studios, why does everybody assume the games for these studios are just now starting to be made? For all we know, they could have games that are almost completed
This is getting hype because it's Kojima and it's on the leading console, PS4. Imagine if MS had shown this trailer from a new studio. It would be ripped to shreds on this site. This game has shown me nothing so far. I'm not interested in the least bit.
This. Do you what you want with your money. Some people say they buy physical so that they can always have the game to play later. Personally, I can give a rat's ass if I play a game again after I finish it or the next iterration comes out. When I was younger, I used to think I will keep all my games so I can play them again later. I haven't gone back to play any of my games from the past and I'm ok with that. But that's just me. I've gone all digital this generation and ...
