It really makes you think. But it seems we'd do more for the situation in the Congo by standing on our political power rather than the power of our wallets. We need to speak up and let politicians and peacekeepers know that this conflict needs our attention.
Hit the nail on the head, FFXIII is a mess
Well it can't be worse than the last movie at least.
I like cutscenes when appropriate. Rockstar, for example, does cutscenes you can't really argue with. Bioware offers cutscenes you can interact with and change. And Kojima does his Hollywood wannabe thing that certainly has it's own appeal. It's all about what you're doing with your cutscenes. If they're only there to add some story to a game that shouldn't have a story anyway, or pad out the length of a game, or take away interaction when you could easily be participa...
Let's hope he gets it, he was the best Prince of Persia. Sorry Nolan North.
People still have working NES games and systems, Atari consoles, etc. Will people still be able to play Geometry Wars on their 360 in 20 years though? Digital distribution throws this monkey wrench into the mix for collectors that really makes the idea unappealing.
I don't even keep my game boxes anymore - I throw them out and keep my discs and manuals in a big binder. But as someone who wants to always be able to go back and play my old games, an event like the inevitabl...
I'm not sure how much I trust Sega with their own games anymore, but ideally I'd like them to assemble some of the original team for a new Panzer Dragoon game.
Giant Bomb was the right answer haha
I have the last Tritton model and voice chat was awful. Plus there was a ton of annoying clinking noises constantly. Configured correctly, the sound quality is awesome - but it's a bit of a pain and I can't use it for online games.
That said, this new model sounds like a big improvement and tempts me to try 5.1 headphones once more.
When you actually want to sit down and read a good article, there's absolutely no substitute for a magazine. Problem is, people want to read long-form, investigative pieces less and less.
Still, some magazines, like Gamepro, seem to be going in the right direction toward niche success.
Conventions are great. Now we just need a PAX Europe!
I agree totally and it's something I strive for in all the reviews I write.
It's not a movie tie-in. Sure it may come out around the movie but it's a sequel to Sands of Time, the Xbox game from 2003.
Actually it's been in development since before the last game.
Great interview!
Man I'm on Splinter Cell overload. I've been playing Chaos Theory all week, before the Xbox 1 support is gone, and a sealed copy of Conviction was just taunting me the last two days.
Me too!
I agree with the conclusion of this review - I find the weirder Sonic sequels way more interesting. Sonic 2 is a truly great game, but Sonic CD, Spinball, and Knuckles Chaotix are also great in their own ways.
I didn't even know there was a classy awards show like this.
I'm really glad all the stealth elements and gadgets have been retained. The aggressive mark and execute moves are just another layer of depth, not a simplification of the gameplay. I couldn't be more excited for this game!
So the Crackdown developers split up and made two crappy games? Way to go guys.
