Nice review, I agree with nearly every point you made. I think the game needs a bit more gunplay and a bit less down time and it would be perfect. Also, more battles against the half breeds.

You won't be disappointed, this looks like Alien Isolation all over again. Overall, both games received average to sub par reviews by critics but gamers loved them generally.

Not only no but Hell No. I'm 31 and I play games for story/action/entertainment and never gave a fuck about trophies, good for those who waste their time chasing them, you will surely look back years down the line and realize it was time well spent /s
This is a very well written review. I had been waiting for this game since the E3 reveal and was disappointed when the reviews started rolling in. Thankfully we have GameTrailers.com who actually review a game for what it is, not what they wanted it to be. The game is damn near flawless, an amazing tale for sure. Best story I think I have played since Bioshock. This is my favorite PS4 game by far. Next up, Bloodborne!
Completely agree. Xbox fanboys are the ABSOLUTE WORST. They used to run this place back in 2006. It was such a breeding ground for Xbox trolls. There seems to be a resurgence recently....R@D smashed it with The Order: 1886, expect a sequel with MP in 2017. Agree, I love Gears of War and will surely pick up the new one when it finally comes out. However, I'm willing to bet the story will most likely be shit and the characters corny as hell. The gameplay will be sick as always though, so it's still a day one here.

I said this already in another post, if the name Naughty Dog was on that box this game would have scored much different. We would have seen praise like The Last of Us. Ironically enough, I think The Order is a better game than both The Last of Us and Uncharted 2 and that says a lot as I love both of those games and have beaten the hell out of them. The Order has the best story, characters and setting out of any game I have ever played, just my personal opinion of course.
If I were Sony, I wouldn't send out review copies for the sequel. Real gamers who played The Order recognize the polish and attention to detail in the game that is beyond astonishing. Quality sells and R@D will make an incredibly high quality sequel, that I know after two full playthroughs of this amazing game. I will probably replay this ten times before the sequel comes out.
