the problem is that the xbox slogan has been for a while just wait. or soon. but they haven't shown results. they weren't ready for launch and they are paying the price. and coming back from this won't be easy. the xbox one wasn't second-best console because the switch that was 5 years later released already beat it. and the future for xbox x isnt looking good. its becuase microsoft...

sony already stated that it's very unlikely a ps5 pro will exist. they already stated that they expect that the ps5 life cycle will be shorter than the ps4. so you basically are saying you are waiting for the ps6 to come out. because that's the most likely scenario to play out here.
It's possible but if we keep the current pase we have now up. we won't all be streaming games in 10-15 years. they will finally have a decent working model in 10-15 years. then they still have to convince it's better than having the hardware at home instead. streaming games is already possible I know. but it's a far cry from being really functional especially on a large scale.
i think it's acceptable in free to play games when its only cosmetics. since that has existed in that concept for more than 10 years ago. people only made a problem out of it when it was p2w or it was on a game that you have to buy.

@will_b you are wrong ps5 sold like this post even tells you it did between 2.1 to 2.5 million coppies. your issue is that you didn't know the ps5 had two separate launch dates. in USA, japan, and I think Australia they released it a week earlier than the rest of the world. europe, africa and so on got it a week later. so again you are making the wrong comparison. you should add the first week of the release date together. to get the first week sales.
that's not completely true ps4 still sold more than switch. the problem is the switch got released at the end of the life cycle of ps4 and xbox. you cant compare them in the current timeline. if you compare the beginning of the switch with the ps5 the ps5 already won. and its still wait if the switch reaches ps4 total sales. the switch has been selling great but it still needs to double their sales to pass the total ps4s sold.
i took two weeks off just for the ps5. normally take time off to travel but yhea couldnt do that this year.

yhea i understand. where i am from they allowed me to preorder in october last year. becuase nobody was thinking of the ps5 i preordered then becuase i lived nex to the store. no effort no nothing and i got it on launch day obviously.

witcher was also extremely buggy at launch. am I giving cdpr a free pass, no definitely not.
what happened here was they announced the release date to early. fans were getting annoyed with the delays. so they didn't see an opportunity to delay it even longer.
luckily i haven't encountered any game braking bugs yet it does crash from time to time wich is annoying.
but i love how everyone is attacking cpdr for doing something Bethesda has been doing for years....
