Because 360 is making an attempt at a broader market(compared to XB1), just not a very good one, most broad category games for 360 have been good at best. Yeah, I agree with RadientFlux, this would be terrible for everyone in the end, not Rock* exclusively on PS3, but one platform. The market needs innovation more than ever to succeed right now, and the only way innovation is going to occur is in a large market scenario. Because competition fuels innovation.
It's not specifically about this one comment, it's about the multitude of comments he has made about all the games that are direct competition with his. I'm saying this dude needs to get a reality check, because most of his games aren't that great, and don't have near the fanbase as other games similar to his. It has no benefit for either side. Although if I did have to take a guess at it, I would say Sony benefits the most from this. Not so much to do with GTA, Just it takes a very critical title away from Microsoft, when, be honest, Microsoft needs big titles right now to push hardware sales before PS2 converts hit the PS3, and apparently every single (non paralyzed) person on the face of the planet is a Wii convert.
The last time I checked the PS3 was around for me to play when my crap 360 broke(3rd time), it eased my pain. And that junk about PS3 not having any games to play isn't true, they're just not that good of games yet excluding Motorstorm and Resistance. But, PS3 has a ridiculous lineup ahead thankfully, so it will have even better games to ease my way through Msoft's slow as sh!t repairs, again.
Actually mintrieri, Rock* already got the 50 mil, because they said the delay of the game wouldn't effect their deal with Msoft(the content was supposed to come next year).
Rockstar had to ask for permission to break contract with Sony to get the 50 mil from Msoft, as long as they released both GTA IV versions at the same time.
