I agree with TheDesperado on this one, HD DVD is a failing format, and by the time this movie came out HD DVD would no longer even exist. Blu-ray has nearly all the studios backing it which = more exclusives, and in the end what movies are on what format will finish this "war".
That makes no sense, seeing as how when Microsoft paid to have Guitar Hero 2 ported to the 360, it had a wireless guitar using Microsoft's "tech".
I think it's because the bundle was going to cost more because of Microsoft using their own tech instead of cheaper, more efficient bluetooth.
"And folks thats only the beginning, PS3 is starting to evolve...8D"
Damn, I think I'll need a new TV for that.
Yep, I was beginning to wonder when I hadn't seen him on here in awhile. Too bad, could've made for a good story.
Yeah, which is funny seeing how much recognition Gears got for bland colors. It's really a shame all those idiotic Xbots are gonna miss this masterpiece of a game. Fanboys disgust me.
edit:What the hell are you talking about Jason xg1"it's called "forced" because you ran out of resources"
This game is only utilizing very few of the PS3's potential yet, and the color choice was their personal option. If you had read that link like I intended, ...
You are all dumbass bastards for claiming superiority on 30fps. And GPU has nothing to do with the frame rate, thats the CPU, and seeing how the PS3 has far more, it's EA's half-assing sh!t games that are the only ones not running BETTER on PS3. The PS3 also has the ability to render nearly a million more different shades of color than the 360's GPU, you are stupid.
Chill man, mostly everybody here was saying that they just thought EA were cheap and lazy bastards. Fact is, the PS3 has more than enough processing power to handle 60 FPS, but EA somehow can't manage to do that. But I agree with you about all the crap talking about other systems that these people don't even have.
I'm really disappointed in EA's efforts overall at their studios lately, if they didn't have such a rigid fanbase and NFL rights to top it off, I think 2K would've c...
I'm a 360 fan and all, but Microsoft has a terrible habit of just buying off all the Sony/PS3 games instead of attempting something new. But I won't say anything about a percentage of good 360 titles being FPS, but that a large majority of the 360 games that aren't some type of shooter(or bought off PS title), are complete sh!t.
For example: Kameo, Viva Pinata, Scene It?(are you sh!tting me).
But, with Sony and Nintendo there is always innovation, and some new "genr...
Heavenly Sword is already off to a good start, but it still has to get past a lot of other publications to get widespread attention. Publications which especially favor 360 games such as 1UP and Gamestop will be the final determining factor on whether this game makes it main stream and really sells or not.
Looks great, can't wait to play it, looks like the next evolution in the platforming genre, like God of War did recently.
I feel ashamed to be a gamer and say I haven't heard of this before. I mean that is the funniest pissed off old lady I've ever seen.
Whoa, it's like Grandma's Boy, but an angrier grandma!
I accidentally posted this under the wrong thread(stupid Firefox tabs), thankfully a Bioshock on though, my impressions:
The developers only ever stated that it was LAUNCHING exclusively on Xbox 360 and PC, I know it's a stretch, but they never actually said " it isn't in progress and never will be for PS3". Whereas Konami/Kojima did say this, MGS4 is exclusive to the PS3, without a doubt. But, of course(I know "stretching it"), 2K left room for doubt with ...

Not to mention the interesting fact that it was in development for PS3, before 360 mind you, then announced for...
You're incredibly misguided, this game hasn't been in development for anywhere near three years. The entire team at GG(Guerrilla Games), the dev team behind the KZ franchise has been completely immersed in creating Killzone: Liberation(The true KZ2) up until two and a half/three months before E3.
If you actually new the facts on this game, you would've known that, and it is completely unrealistic to compare the pre-alpha build of a game to a finished and polished one. The mere...
Holy sh!t. Can't wait to buy my brand spankin new Samsung 40" widescreen 1080P LCD TV just to play this game in full HD. It will be glorious, can't wait, I'm so stoked. Think I'm gonna go beat it to that trailer again. mmmm... that's right baby, show me the graphics
I am going to be there grabbing this the minute they put it on the shelves. I can't wait, I'm so pumped. yeeaahh!!
Can anyone tell me why I'm losing bubbles? I've had more people agree with my statements than disagree.
Sorry if this is a dumb question.
This is bull, so Microsoft releases a half assed console, and now a year and a half later I'm realizing what a cheap system I paid so much money for because I'm stuck without an HDMI hookup and a loud and faulty system. I'm not buying a Microsoft console again. THis just blows me away, I got screwed so bad, I paid way more for a piece crap compared to the new ones.
I think anytime now and before Christmas would be the best time to get a PS3, well as long as 60GB is still available.
You're an idiot, Sony made this decision for three reasons.
1.Blu-ray is an obvious improvement all around over DVD
2.It helps universalize the format
3.it makes them money
Sony obviously made the best decision with PS3's format, and the same could be said for you defending HD DVD, you only do it because you're an Msoft fan and hate Sony. you don't really give a sh!t about Toshiba or HD DVD, you just don't want the PS3 to have something better than your 360, bu...
